Let God arise,
Let His enemies be scattered;
Let those also who hate Him flee before Him.

Проводиреві хора: Давидова псальма, пісня. Нехай встане Бог! Щоб розсипались вороги його, і розбіглись перед ним ненавидники його!

As smoke is driven away,
So drive them away;
As wax melts before the fire,
So let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

Як дим щезає, нехай вони так щезнуть; як віск топиться від огню, нехай так погибнуть грішники від лиця Божого.

But let the righteous be glad;
Let them rejoice before God;
Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.

А праведники нехай звеселяться, нехай возрадуються перед лицем Божим, і торжествують в радостї.

Sing to God, sing praises to His name;
Extol[a] Him who rides on the [b]clouds,
By His name [c]Yah,
And rejoice before Him.

Сьпівайте Богу, величайте імя його! Зробіть дорогу тому, хто проходить крізь пустинї — Господь імя його — і радуйтесь перед ним!

A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows,
Is God in His holy habitation.

God sets the solitary in families;
He brings out those who are bound into prosperity;
But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

O God, when You went out before Your people,
When You marched through the wilderness, Selah

Боже! Як ійшов ти поперед твого народу, як переходив пустиню,

The earth shook;
The heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God;
Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

Тремтїла земля — і небеса клянули перед Богом — сам Синай перед Богом, Богом Ізраїля.

You, O God, sent a plentiful rain,
Whereby You confirmed Your inheritance,
When it was weary.

Дав линути животворному дощеві, о Боже; ти кріпив наслїддє твоє, коли воно томилось.

Your congregation dwelt in it;
You, O God, provided from Your goodness for the poor.

Племя твоє осїло там; в добротї твоїй, Боже, приготовляв ти для бідного.

The Lord gave the word;
Great was the [d]company of those who proclaimed it:

Господь прорік слово, і було вістовниць велика сила.

“Kings of armies flee, they flee,
And she who remains at home divides the [e]spoil.

Царі з військами втїкали, вони втїкали, а хто обняв домівку, паював здобич.

Though you lie down among the [f]sheepfolds,
You will be like the wings of a dove covered with silver,
And her feathers with yellow gold.”

When the Almighty scattered kings in it,
It was white as snow in Zalmon.

A mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan;
A mountain of many peaks is the mountain of Bashan.

Гора Базанська, гора Божа, щоглами багата гора Базанська.

16

Why do you [g]fume with envy, you mountains of many peaks?
This is the mountain which God desires to dwell in;
Yes, the Lord will dwell in it forever.

Чого ви, гори-бескиди, споглядаєте завидно на гору, котру взяв Бог на домівку для себе? Господь жити ме там по віки.

17

The chariots of God are twenty thousand,
Even thousands of thousands;
The Lord is among them as in Sinai, in the Holy Place.

Колесниця Божа двічі десять тисяч, тисячі і знов тисячі; Господь між ними — Господь живущий у сьвятинї Синая.

18

You have ascended on high,
You have led captivity captive;
You have received gifts among men,
Even from the rebellious,
That the Lord God might dwell there.

Вийшов єси на гору, ти забрав в неволю бранцїв; приняв дари для людей, і навіть для противних твоїй волї, щоб Господь Бог мав оселю.

Blessed be the Lord,
Who daily loads us with benefits,
The God of our salvation! Selah

Благословен Господь! День в день щедрить нам Бог нашого спасення.

20

Our God is the God of salvation;
And to God the Lord belong escapes from death.

Бог наш, Бог спасення, і в руках Господа Бога збавленнє від смертї.

But God will wound the head of His enemies,
The hairy scalp of the one who still goes on in his trespasses.

The Lord said, “I will bring back from Bashan,
I will bring them back from the depths of the sea,

That [h]your foot may crush them in blood,
And the tongues of your dogs may have their portion from your enemies.”

Щоб ти полоскав ноги твої в крові, а для язиків собак твоїх була з ворогів частина їх.

They have seen Your [i]procession, O God,
The procession of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.

24

І бачили вони твій похід, Боже, похід мого Бога, мого царя, у сьвятиню.

The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after;
Among them were the maidens playing timbrels.

Поперед ійшли люде, що сьпівали; за ними ті; що на струнах вигравали, кругом їх дївчата тимпанами брязчали.

Bless God in the congregations,
The Lord, from the fountain of Israel.

На зборах прославляйте Бога, Господа, ви потомки Ізраїля!

There is little Benjamin, their leader,
The princes of Judah and their [j]company,
The princes of Zebulun and the princes of Naphtali.

27

[k]Your God has commanded your strength;
Strengthen, O God, what You have done for us.

Because of Your temple at Jerusalem,
Kings will bring presents to You.

Rebuke the beasts of the reeds,
The herd of bulls with the calves of the peoples,
Till everyone submits himself with pieces of silver.
Scatter the peoples who delight in war.

Вгамуй зьвіра-дикуна, стадо бугаїв з ялівками народів: кожний з них підбиває людей брилою срібла. Розсип народи, що війни бажають!

Envoys will come out of Egypt;
Ethiopia will quickly stretch out her hands to God.

Прийдуть можні з Египту; Етиопія скоро простягне руки свої до Бога.

Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth;
Oh, sing praises to the Lord, Selah

Царства земні! Сьпівайте Богу, прославляйте Господа,

To Him who rides on the heaven of heavens, which were of old!
Indeed, He sends out His voice, a mighty voice.

Ascribe strength to God;
His excellence is over Israel,
And His strength is in the clouds.
