New King James Version

English Standard Version

  • Prayer for Relief from Adversaries

    To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. To bring to remembrance.

    Make haste, O God, to deliver me!
    Make haste to help me, O Lord!
  • O Lord, Do Not Delay

    To the choirmaster. Of David, for the memorial offering.

    Make haste, O God, to deliver me!
    O Lord, make haste to help me!
  • Let them be ashamed and confounded
    Who seek my life;
    Let them be [a]turned back and confused
    Who desire my hurt.
  • Let them be put to shame and confusion
    who seek my life!
    Let them be turned back and brought to dishonor
    who delight in my hurt!
  • Let them be turned back because of their shame,
    Who say, [b]“Aha, aha!”
  • Let them turn back because of their shame
    who say, “Aha, Aha!”
  • Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You;
    And let those who love Your salvation say continually,
    “Let God be magnified!”
  • May all who seek you
    rejoice and be glad in you!
    May those who love your salvation
    say evermore, “God is great!”
  • But I am poor and needy;
    Make haste to me, O God!
    You are my help and my deliverer;
    O Lord, do not delay.
  • But I am poor and needy;
    hasten to me, O God!
    You are my help and my deliverer;
    O Lord, do not delay!
