Prayer and Thanksgiving for the Lord’s Righteous Judgments

To the Chief Musician. To the tune of [a]“Death of the Son.” A Psalm of David.

I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will tell of all Your marvelous works.

Проводиреві хора: під мутляббен. Псальма Давидова. С лавити му Господа всїм серцем моїм; я звіщу про всї чудеса твої.

I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.

Радуватись і веселитись буду задля тебе і сьпівати хвалу імени твоєму, Всевишний!

3

When my enemies turn back,
They shall fall and perish at Your presence.

Як вороги мої повернулись назад, і, спотикнувшись, погибли перед лицем твоїм.

4

For You have maintained my right and my cause;
You sat on the throne judging in righteousness.

4

Ти бо судив мою правду і мою праведну справу: Ти сїв на престолї, суддя справедливий.

5

You have rebuked the [b]nations,
You have destroyed the wicked;
You have blotted out their name forever and ever.

Ти погромив народи, знищив безбожника, імя їх затер єси на віки вічні.

6

O enemy, destructions are finished forever!
And you have destroyed cities;
Even their memory has perished.

Ох вороже! Конець руїнам на віки — і городи понищив ти; ой пропала їх память.

But the Lord shall endure forever;
He has prepared His throne for judgment.

7

Але Господь пробуває на віки; він приготовив на суд престол свій.

8

He shall judge the world in righteousness,
And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness.

І він, він судити ме весь сьвіт по правдї, і зробить суд над народами по правотї.

9

The Lord also will be a refuge[c] for the oppressed,
A refuge in times of trouble.

9

І буде Господь пристанню пригнетеному, велике прибіжище під час злиднїв.

10

And those who know Your name will put their trust in You;
For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.

10

І будуть вповати на тебе, хто знає імя твоє; бо ти не опускаєш нїкого, хто шукає тебе, Господи.

11

Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion!
Declare His deeds among the people.

Сьпівайте Господу живущому на Сионї, звіщайте між народами дїла його.

12

When He avenges blood, He remembers them;
He does not forget the cry of the [d]humble.

Бо коли він слїдить за пролитою кровю, то згадає про них; він не забуває голосїння бідолашних.

13

Have mercy on me, O Lord!
Consider my trouble from those who hate me,
You who lift me up from the gates of death,

Помилуй мене, Господи, зглянься над недолею моєю від ненавидників моїх, і підніми мене від дверей смертї,

14

That I may tell of all Your praise
In the gates of [e]the daughter of Zion.
I will rejoice in Your salvation.

14

Щоб я ізвістив всю хвалу твою у брамах дочки Сионової; щоб я радувався спасеннєм твоїм.

15

The [f]nations have sunk down in the pit which they made;
In the net which they hid, their own foot is caught.

Провалились народи в пропасть, що викопали її; зловилась нога їх у сїтях, що заставили їх тайно.

16

The Lord is known by the judgment He executes;
The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands.

Пізнали Господа, він звершив суд; безбожник запутався в дїлах рук своїх.

17

The wicked shall be turned into hell,
And all the [h]nations that forget God.

17

Нехай повернуться безбожники в пекло, всї народи, що забувають Бога.

18

For the needy shall not always be forgotten;
The expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.

18

Бо не буде завсїди забутий вбогий, і не пропаде на віки надїя смирних.

19

Arise, O Lord,
Do not let man prevail;
Let the [i]nations be judged in Your sight.

19

Встань, Господи, щоб не взяв верх чоловік; нехай перед лицем твоїм приймуть суд народи.

20

Put them in fear, O Lord,
That the [j]nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah

20

Напусти, Господи, страх на них; нехай знають народи, що вони смертні люде.
