    A Call to Worship and Obedience

    Oh come, let us sing to the Lord!
    Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.

    Прийдїте, в радостї засьпіваймо Господеві, з покликом звеселїмось перед скелею спасення нашого!

    Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving;
    Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

    Підем на зустріч йому з хвалою, явимо радість перед ним у псальмах!

    For the Lord is the great God,
    And the great King above all gods.

    Бо Господь Бог великий, і великий царь над всїма богами.

    [a]In His hand are the deep places of the earth;
    The heights of the hills are His also.

    В руцї його всї глибинї землї, його ж і гори високі.
  • 5
    The sea is His, for He made it;
    And His hands formed the dry land.

    І море його, він сотворив його; й сушу руки його сотворили.

    Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
    Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

    For He is our God,
    And we are the people of His pasture,
    And the sheep [b]of His hand.
    Today, if you will hear His voice:

    Бо він Бог наш, а ми нарід пасовиска його, і стадо руки його. Ой, коли б ви сьогоднї, як почуєте голос його,

    “Do not harden your hearts, as in the [c]rebellion,
    As in the day of [d]trial in the wilderness,

    Та не стали тверді серцями, як в Мериві, як у день Масси в пустинї!

    When your fathers tested Me;
    They tried Me, though they saw My work.

    Як батьки ваші спокушали, пробували мене, хоч твориво моє бачили.

    For forty years I was [e]grieved with that generation,
    And said, ‘It is a people who go astray in their hearts,
    And they do not know My ways.’

    Сорок років був рід той огидою для мене, і я сказав: вони нарід, що блукає серцем, і не пізнали вони доріг моїх,

    So I swore in My wrath,
    ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ”

    Так що я поклявся в гнїві моїм, що не ввійти їм в упокій мій!
