    bind them around your neck;
    write them on the tablet of your heart.

    Nor detest His correction;
  • My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline
    or be weary of his reproof,
  • For whom the Lord loves He corrects,
    Just as a father the son in whom he delights.
  • for the Lord reproves him whom he loves,
    as a father the son in whom he delights.
  • Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
    And the man who gains understanding;
  • Blessed Is the One Who Finds Wisdom

    Blessed is the one who finds wisdom,
    and the one who gets understanding,

    And clouds drop down the dew.

    Keep sound wisdom and discretion;
  • My son, do not lose sight of these —
