“Thus says the Lord to His anointed,
To Cyrus, whose right hand I have [a]held —
To subdue nations before him
And loose the armor of kings,
To open before him the double doors,
So that the gates will not be shut:

Так говорить Господь Бог до Свого помазаника Кира, якого правицю Я зміцнив, щоб слухалися його народи, і розірву силу царів, відкрию перед ним двері, і міста не замкнуться.

2

‘I will go before you
And[b] make the [c]crooked places straight;
I will break in pieces the gates of bronze
And cut the bars of iron.

Я піду перед тобою і вирівняю гори, знищу мідні брами і розіб’ю залізні завіси,

3

I will give you the treasures of darkness
And hidden riches of secret places,
That you may know that I, the Lord,
Who call you by your name,
Am the God of Israel.

і дам тобі скарби темряви, невидиме сховане тобі відкрию, щоб ти пізнав, що Я — Господь Бог, Який називає твоє ім’я, Бог Ізраїля!

4

For Jacob My servant’s sake,
And Israel My elect,
I have even called you by your name;
I have named you, though you have not known Me.

Через Мого слугу Якова й Ізраїля, Мого вибраного, Я тебе покличу Моїм Іменем і прийму тебе, а ти Мене не пізнав.

5

I am the Lord, and there is no other;
There is no God besides Me.
I will gird you, though you have not known Me,

Адже Я — Господь Бог, і немає більше Бога, за винятком Мене, а ти Мене не пізнав,

That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting
That there is none besides Me.
I am the Lord, and there is no other;

щоб пізнали ті, хто зі сходу сонця, і ті, хто із заходу, що немає іншого, крім мене. Я — Господь Бог, і більше немає!

7

I form the light and create darkness,
I make peace and create calamity;
I, the Lord, do all these things.’

7

Я створив світло і зробив темряву, Я чиню мир і творю лихо. Я — Господь Бог, Який чинить це все!

8

“Rain down, you heavens, from above,
And let the skies pour down righteousness;
Let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation,
And let righteousness spring up together.
I, the Lord, have created it.

Нехай зрадіє небо вгорі і хмари хай кроплять справедливість. Нехай земля видасть милосердя, і праведність нехай разом зійде. Я — Господь, Який тебе створив!

9

“Woe to him who strives with his Maker!
Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth!
Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’
Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’?

Які прекрасні речі Я зробив, наче з глини гончаря? Хіба не той, хто оре, оратиме землю? Чи скаже глина гончареві: Що чиниш? Адже ти не правильно робиш, невже не маєш рук!

10

Woe to him who says to his father, ‘What are you begetting?’
Or to the woman, ‘What have you brought forth?’ ”

Хто каже батькові: Чому породжуватимеш? І матері: Чому терпітимеш муки народження?

11

Thus says the Lord,
The Holy One of Israel, and his Maker:
“Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons;
And concerning the work of My hands, you command Me.

Адже так говорить Господь Бог, Святий Ізраїля, Який створив те, що надходить: Запитайте Мене про Моїх синів і про Моїх дочок, і про діла Моїх рук дайте вказівку ви Мені!

12

I have made the earth,
And created man on it.
I — My hands — stretched out the heavens,
And all their host I have commanded.

Я створив землю і людину на ній, Я Своєю рукою непохитно встановив небо, Я дав наказ усім зіркам!

13

I have raised him up in righteousness,
And I will [d]direct all his ways;
He shall build My city
And let My exiles go free,
Not for price nor reward,”
Says the Lord of hosts.

13

Я підняв його з праведністю, і всі його дороги прямі. Він збудує Моє місто і поверне полонених Мого народу — не за викуп і не за дари, — сказав Господь Саваот.

14

The Lord, the Only Savior

Thus says the Lord:
“The labor of Egypt and merchandise of Cush
And of the Sabeans, men of stature,
Shall come over to you, and they shall be yours;
They shall walk behind you,
They shall come over in chains;
And they shall bow down to you.
They will make supplication to you, saying, ‘Surely God is in you,
And there is no other;
There is no other God.’ ”

Так говорить Господь Саваот: Став безсилим Єгипет, і торгівля ефіопів, і високі мужі-севоїмці перейдуть до тебе і тобі будуть рабами, і за тобою підуть заковані кайданами, і поклоняться тобі та молитимуться в тебе, бо посеред тебе є Бог, і скажуть: Немає Бога, за винятком Тебе!

Truly You are God, who hide Yourself,
O God of Israel, the Savior!

Адже Ти є Бог, а ми не знали, що Бог Ізраїля — Спаситель!

16

They shall be ashamed
And also disgraced, all of them;
They shall go in confusion together,
Who are makers of idols.

16

Застидаються і засоромляться всі, хто проти нього, і підуть із соромом. Посвятіть себе Мені, острови!

17

But Israel shall be saved by the Lord
With an everlasting salvation;
You shall not be ashamed or disgraced
Forever and ever.

17

Ізраїля спасає Господь вічним спасінням. Не застидаються і не засоромляться вони навіки.

18

For thus says the Lord,
Who created the heavens,
Who is God,
Who formed the earth and made it,
Who has established it,
Who did not create it [e]in vain,
Who formed it to be inhabited:
“I am the Lord, and there is no other.

Так говорить Господь, Який створив небо, цей Бог, Який створив землю, і зробив її, Він її розділив, не на марно зробив її, але щоб заселена була: Я є, і немає більше іншого!

19

I have not spoken in secret,
In a dark place of the earth;
I did not say to the seed of Jacob,
‘Seek Me [f]in vain’;
I, the Lord, speak righteousness,
I declare things that are right.

19

Я не промовив у прихованому місці, ні в темному місці землі. Я не сказав нащадкам Якова: Марно шукатимете! Я є, Я є Господь, Який промовляє праведність і сповіщає правду.

20

“Assemble yourselves and come;
Draw near together,
You who have escaped from the nations.
They have no knowledge,
Who carry the wood of their carved image,
And pray to a god that cannot save.

Зберіться і прийдіть, порадьтеся разом, ви, які спасаєтеся від народів! Не мають знання ті, хто носить дерево, своє різьблення, і моляться, як до богів, які не спасають.

21

Tell and bring forth your case;
Yes, let them take counsel together.
Who has declared this from ancient time?
Who has told it from that time?
Have not I, the Lord?
And there is no other God besides Me,
A just God and a Savior;
There is none besides Me.

Якщо сповістять, хай наблизяться, щоб разом знали, хто явним зробив це від початку. Тоді сповіститься вам, що Я — Бог, і немає іншого, за винятком Мене. Немає Праведного і Спасителя, за винятком Мене.

22

“Look to Me, and be saved,
All you ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other.

Поверніться до Мене і врятуєтеся, ви, що з країв землі! Я є Бог, і немає іншого!

23

I have sworn by Myself;
The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness,
And shall not return,
That to Me every knee shall bow,
Every tongue shall take an oath.

23

Клянуся Мною самим: Те, що вийде з Моїх уст, — праведність, Мої слова не повернуться, бо до Мене схилиться всяке коліно, і кожний язик прославлятиме Бога,

24

He shall say,
[g]‘Surely in the Lord I have righteousness and strength.
To Him men shall come,
And all shall be ashamed
Who are incensed against Him.

- кажучи: Праведність і слава прийдуть до Нього, і засоромляться всі, які відлучують себе самих.

25

In the Lord all the descendants of Israel
Shall be justified, and shall glory.’ ”

25

Господом оправдається і в Богові прославиться кожний нащадок синів Ізраїля.
