God Redeems Jerusalem

Awake, awake!
Put on your strength, O Zion;
Put on your beautiful garments,
O Jerusalem, the holy city!
For the uncircumcised and the unclean
Shall no longer come to you.

Проснись, проснись, Сион! Облачись в свою силу! Вставай, святой Иерусалим! Кто Богу следовать не хочет, тот больше не войдёт в тебя. Такие люди нечисты.

2

Shake yourself from the dust, arise;
Sit down, O Jerusalem!
Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck,
O captive daughter of Zion!

Прах отряхни, свои одежды прекрасные надень, Иерусалим! Ты, дочь Сиона, в заточении была, но ныне сбрось цепи с шеи, распрямись!

For thus says the Lord:
“You have sold yourselves for nothing,
And you shall be redeemed without money.”

Господь сказал: "Тебя не продали за деньги, поэтому без денег Я тебя освобожу".

For thus says the Lord God:
“My people went down at first
Into Egypt to [a]dwell there;
Then the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.

Now therefore, what have I here,” says the Lord,
“That My people are taken away for nothing?
Those who rule over them
[b]Make them wail,” says the Lord,
“And My name is blasphemed continually every day.

А теперь что случилось? Посмотри, Мой народ захвачен другим народом! Что это за страна, которая поработила Мой народ? Она не платила за Мой народ, но властвует над ним и, смеясь, порочит имя Моё".

Therefore My people shall know My name;
Therefore they shall know in that day
That I am He who speaks:
‘Behold, it is I.’ ”

Господь говорит: "Это случилось, чтобы Мой народ узнал обо Мне. Они узнают имя Моё, и что Я — Он, Тот, Кто говорит с ними".

How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”

Your watchmen shall lift up their voices,
With their voices they shall sing together;
For they shall see eye to eye
When the Lord brings back Zion.

Break forth into joy, sing together,
You waste places of Jerusalem!
For the Lord has comforted His people,
He has redeemed Jerusalem.

Твои, Иерусалим, руины вновь счастье обретут, вы все возрадуетесь — Бог к Иерусалиму будет благосклонен и весь его народ спасёт.

10

The Lord has [c]made bare His holy arm
In the eyes of all the nations;
And all the ends of the earth shall see
The salvation of our God.

Господь Свою святую силу покажет всем народам, люди всех стран увидят, как Господь спасает Свой народ.

11

Depart! Depart! Go out from there,
Touch no unclean thing;
Go out from the midst of her,
Be clean,
You who bear the vessels of the Lord.

Вы все должны покинуть Вавилон, священники очиститься должны и ничего нечистого не трогать.

12

For you shall not go out with haste,
Nor go by flight;
For the Lord will go before you,
And the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

Вы Вавилон покинете спокойно, никто вас не заставит бежать или спешить, вы медленно пойдёте, и с вами, впереди, пойдёт Господь, а позади, от Вавилона вас храня, пойдёт Бог Израиля.

The Sin-Bearing Servant

Behold, My Servant shall [d]deal prudently;
He shall be exalted and [e]extolled and be very high.

"Взгляни на слугу Моего — он будет успешен во всём и станет важным, будет в почёте и уважении.

14

Just as many were astonished at you,
So His visage[f] was marred more than any man,
And His form more than the sons of men;

И как многие поразились, увидев слугу Моего, ибо он был так обезображен, что в нём с трудом узнавали человека,

15

So shall He [g]sprinkle many nations.
Kings shall shut their mouths at Him;
For what had not been told them they shall see,
And what they had not heard they shall consider.

15

так удивятся и многие народы, и даже цари от изумления не смогут сказать ни слова. Ибо эти люди не слышали эту историю — они видели, как это случилось! Они не слышали эту историю, но всё поняли".
