Assurance of Zion’s Salvation

For Zion’s sake I will not [a]hold My peace,
And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest,
Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness,
And her salvation as a lamp that burns.

Не мовчатиму через Сіон і не перестану через Єрусалим, аж доки не вийде, як світло, моя праведність, і моє спасіння загориться, як світильник.

2

The Gentiles shall see your righteousness,
And all kings your glory.
You shall be called by a new name,
Which the mouth of the Lord will name.

І народи побачать твою праведність, і царі — твою славу, і Він назве тобі твоє нове ім’я, яким Господь його назве.

3

You shall also be a crown of glory
In the hand of the Lord,
And a royal diadem
In the hand of your God.

3

І буде гарний вінець у руці Господа і вінець царства в руці твого Бога.

4

You shall no longer be termed Forsaken,[b]
Nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate;[c]
But you shall be called [d]Hephzibah, and your land [e]Beulah;
For the Lord delights in you,
And your land shall be married.

І більше не назвешся: Залишена! І твоя земля не назветься: Спустошена! — бо тобі дадуть назву Моя бажана, а твоїй землі — Усесвіт.

For as a young man marries a virgin,
So shall your sons marry you;
And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
So shall your God rejoice over you.

І як живе юнак з дівчиною, так житимуть і твої сини з тобою. І буде, що так, як радіє наречений нареченою, так радітиме Господь тобою.

I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;
They shall [f]never hold their peace day or night.
You who [g]make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent,

І на твоїх стінах, Єрусалиме, я поставив сторожу — цілий день і цілу ніч, які до кінця не замовкнуть, згадуючи Господа.

And give Him no rest till He establishes
And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Адже немає подібного до вас, якщо виправишся і зробиш Єрусалим похвалою на землі.

The Lord has sworn by His right hand
And by the arm of His strength:
“Surely I will no longer give your grain
As food for your enemies;
And the sons of the foreigner shall not drink your new wine,
For which you have labored.

Господь поклявся Своєю правицею, — силою Своєї руки: Хіба ще дам твою пшеницю і твою їжу твоїм ворогам, і хіба ще питимуть сини-чужинці твоє вино, над яким ти важко працював!

But those who have gathered it shall eat it,
And praise the Lord;
Those who have brought it together shall drink it in My holy courts.”

Але ті, хто збирає, його їстимуть і хвалитимуть Господа, і ті, хто збирає, його питимуть у Моїх святих дворах.

Go through,
Go through the gates!
Prepare the way for the people;
Build up,
Build up the highway!
Take out the stones,
Lift up a banner for the peoples!

Ідіть крізь Мої брами і зробите дорогу для Мого народу, а каміння, що на дорозі, відкиньте! Підніміть знак для народів!

Indeed the Lord has proclaimed
To the end of the world:
“Say to the daughter of Zion,
‘Surely your salvation is coming;
Behold, His reward is with Him,
And His [h]work before Him.’ ”

Бо ось Господь проголосив аж до кінця землі. Скажіть дочці Сіону: Ось Спаситель приходить до тебе, маючи Свою винагороду, і справа перед Його обличчям.

And they shall call them The Holy People,
The Redeemed of the Lord;
And you shall be called Sought Out,
A City Not Forsaken.

І назве його святим народом, викупленим Господом, і ти назвешся бажаним містом, а не покинутим.
