The Lord in Judgment and Salvation

Who is this who comes from Edom,
With dyed garments from Bozrah,
This One who is [a]glorious in His apparel,
Traveling in the greatness of His strength? —
“I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”

Кто идёт из Едома, кто следует из Восора в пурпурных одеждах? Величественный в одеждах своих, высокий и всесильный Он говорит: "У Меня есть сила, чтобы спасти вас, Я изрекаю правду".

Why is Your apparel red,
And Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?

"Отчего же твоё одеяние красно, как одежда виноградаря, топчущего виноград, чтобы сделать вино?"

“I have trodden the winepress alone,
And from the peoples no one was with Me.
For I have trodden them in My anger,
And trampled them in My fury;
Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments,
And I have stained all My robes.

Он отвечает: "Я один был в точиле, мне никто не помогал, и во гневе Я топтал виноград — сок брызгал Мне на одежду и запачкал её.

For the day of vengeance is in My heart,
And the year of My redeemed has come.

Я назначил время наказать людей, теперь же настало время Мне спасти и сохранить народ Мой.

I looked, but there was no one to help,
And I wondered
That there was no one to uphold;
Therefore My own arm brought salvation for Me;
And My own fury, it sustained Me.

Я смотрел, но не находил помощника, и удивлялся, что не было Мне ни от кого поддержки. Но гнев Мой поддержал Меня и силу дал, чтобы спасти народ Мой.

I have trodden down the peoples in My anger,
Made them drunk in My fury,
And brought down their strength to the earth.”

И во гневе Я попирал народы, наказывал их и землю их кровью заливал".

God’s Mercy Remembered

I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord
And the praises of the Lord,
According to all that the Lord has bestowed on us,
And the great goodness toward the house of Israel,
Which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies,
According to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses.

Я буду помнить о Господней милости и не забуду восхвалять Его. Господь семье Израиля дал много, был милосерден к нам и добр.

For He said, “Surely they are My people,
Children who will not lie.”
So He became their Savior.

Господь сказал: "Воистину они — народ Мой, дети, которые не солгут", и был для них спасителем Господь.

In all their affliction He was [b]afflicted,
And the Angel of His Presence saved them;
In His love and in His pity He redeemed them;
And He bore them and carried them
All the days of old.

В беде Господь не оставлял народ и, жалости исполненный, спас его, им Ангела Спасителя послав. Забота Господа о том народе вечна.

But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit;
So He turned Himself against them as an enemy,
And He fought against them.

Но люди отвернулись от Него и огорчили Дух Его Святой. И стал Господь их неприятелем, и Сам Он с тем народом воевал.

Then he remembered the days of old,
Moses and his people, saying:
“Where is He who brought them up out of the sea
With the [c]shepherd of His flock?
Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within them,

Но не забыл Господь того, что было прежде, Он помнит Моисея и его народ. Господь Один провёл народ по морю, Господь дал стаду пастухов Своих. Но где теперь Господь, вселивший дух Свой в Моисея?

12

Who led them by the right hand of Moses,
With His glorious arm,
Dividing the water before them
To make for Himself an everlasting name,

Рукою правой Моисея вёл Господь, Он воду разделил, чтоб через море прошёл Его народ, и стало вечным имя Господа.

13

Who led them through the deep,
As a horse in the wilderness,
That they might not stumble?”

Чрез бездны вёл народ Он, и люди шли, не спотыкаясь, как конь проходит по пустыне.

14

As a beast goes down into the valley,
And the Spirit of the Lord causes him to rest,
So You lead Your people,
To make Yourself a glorious name.

Как на лугу не падают коровы, так шли и люди через бездны моря, в места покоя вёл их Дух Господний, им ничего не угрожало. Так Ты, Господь, вёл Свой народ и увековечил имя Своё.

15

A Prayer of Penitence

Look down from heaven,
And see from Your habitation, holy and glorious.
Where are Your zeal and Your strength,
The yearning of Your heart and Your mercies toward me?
Are they restrained?

Послушай, Господи, услышь на небесах, вниз посмотри на то, что происходит, на нас взгляни из дома Твоего. Где Твоя верная любовь и где Твоё могущество, идущее из сердца, из глубины Твоей, где милосердие Твоё ко мне, и прячешь почему Свою великую любовь?

16

Doubtless You are our Father,
Though Abraham was ignorant of us,
And Israel does not acknowledge us.
You, O Lord, are our Father;
Our Redeemer from Everlasting is Your name.

Ты — наш Отец. Нас Авраам не знает, Израиль нас не узнаёт. Господь, Ты наш Отец, наш Искупитель, и имя Твоё вечно.

17

O Lord, why have You made us stray from Your ways,
And hardened our heart from Your fear?
Return for Your servants’ sake,
The tribes of Your inheritance.

За что, Господь, отталкиваешь нас? Зачем Твой путь для нас Ты сделал трудным? Вернись, Господь, мы — Твои слуги, помоги нам! Тебе принадлежат все наши земли.

18

Your holy people have possessed it but a little while;
Our adversaries have trodden down Your sanctuary.

Недолго на своей земле жил Твой святой народ, враги наши попрали храм Твой святой.

19

We have become like those of old, over whom You never ruled,
Those who were never called by Your name.

19
