Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

„Сину лю́дський, зверни́ своє обличчя до Ґоґа, кра́ю Маґоґа, кня́зя Ро́шу, Мешеху та Тувалу, і пророкуй на нього
and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.
та й скажеш: Так сказав Господь: Ось Я проти тебе, Ґоґу, кня́же Рошу, Мешеху та Тувалу!
I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords.
І заверну́ тебе, і вкладу́ гачки́ в ще́лепи твої, і ви́веду тебе та все ві́йсько твоє, ко́ней та верхівці́в, усі вони досконало озбро́єні, велике збо́рище, зо щита́ми та щитка́ми, усі озброєні меча́ми.
Парас, Куш і Пут із ними, усі вони зо щито́м та з шо́ломом.
Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops — many people are with you.
Ґомер і всі о́рди його, дім Тоґарми, кі́нці північні та всі відділи його, числе́нні наро́ди з тобою.
“Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you; and be a guard for them.
Приготу́йся, і приготу́й собі ти та все збо́рище твоє, зі́брані при тобі, і бу́деш для них сторо́жею.
After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely.
По багатьох днях ти бу́деш потрі́бний, у кінці ро́ків при́йдеш до Кра́ю, що пове́рнений від меча, що зі́браний від числе́нних наро́дів, на Ізраїлеві го́ри, що за́вжди були руїною, а він був ви́ведений від наро́дів, і всі вони сидять безпечно.
You will ascend, coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you.”
І ви́йдеш, при́йдеш як буря, будеш як хмара, щоб покрити землю, ти та всі відділи твої, та числе́нні наро́ди з тобою.
‘Thus says the Lord God: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan:
Так говорить Господь Бог: І станеться того дня, уві́йдуть слова́ на твоє серце, і ти бу́деш ду́мати злу ду́мку,
та й скажеш: Піду́ на неукріплений край, знайду́ спокійних, що безпечно сидять, усі вони сидять в оса́дах без муру, і нема в них за́сува та ворі́т,
to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land.
щоб набрати здо́бичі, і чинити грабу́нок, щоб повернути свою руку на заселені руїни, і на наро́д, зібраний з народів, що набувають добу́ток та маєток, що сидять посеред землі.
Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’ ” ’
Шева та Дедан, і купці Таршішу, і всі левчуки́ його скажуть тобі: Чи ти прийшов набрати здо́бичі, чи ти зібрав своє збо́рище, щоб чинити грабу́нок, щоб ви́нести срібло та золото, щоб набрати добу́тку та маєтку, щоб набрати великої здо́бичі?
“Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it?
Тому́ пророкуй, сину лю́дський, та й скажеш до Ґоґа: Так говорить Господь Бог: Чи того дня, коли наро́д Мій сидітиме безпечно, ти не довідаєшся про це?
Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army.
І при́йдеш із свого місця, із півні́чних кінців, ти та числе́нні народи з тобою, — всі вони гарцю́ють на ко́нях, зборище велике й ві́йсько числе́нне!
You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.”
І зді́ймешся на наро́д Мій Ізраїлів, як хмара, щоб покрити землю. Буде це на кінці днів, і ви́веду тебе на Мій Край, щоб наро́ди пізнали Мене, коли Я покажу́ Свою святість тобі, Ґоґу, на їхніх оча́х.
Thus says the Lord God: “Are you he of whom I have spoken in former days by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied for years in those days that I would bring you against them?
Так говорить Господь Бог: Чи ти той, що про нього говорив Я за давніх днів через Моїх рабів, Ізра́їлевих пророків, що пророкували за тих днів про роки́, щоб приве́сти тебе на них?
Judgment on Gog
“And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord God, “that My fury will show in My face.
“And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord God, “that My fury will show in My face.
І станеться того дня, у дні прихо́ду Ґоґа на Ізраїлеву землю, говорить Господь Бог, — уві́йде ревність Моя в ніздрі Мої.
І в ревності своїй, в огні Свого гніву Я сказав: цього дня буде великий трус на Ізраїлевій землі.
so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’
І затремтя́ть перед Моїм лицем мо́рські риби та птаство небесне, і польова́ звірина́, всяке гаддя́, що плазу́є по землі, і всяка люди́на, що на поверхні землі, і будуть поруйно́вані го́ри, і поваляться у́рвища, і всякий мур на землю впаде́.
I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord God. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother.
І покличу проти нього меча на всіх го́рах Моїх, — говорить Господь Бог, — меч кожного буде на брата його!
And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
І буду судитися з ними моровице́ю та кров'ю, і пущу́ заливни́й дощ та камі́нний град, огонь та сі́рку на нього та на відділи його, та на числе́нні народи, що з ним.
