І Господь промовляв до Мойсея й Аарона, говорячи:
„Чолові́к, коли буде на шкурі тіла його́ напу́хлина, або лиша́й, або біла пляма, і буде на шкурі тіла його ніби боля́чка прока́зи, то буде спрова́джений він до священика Ааро́на або одного з синів його, священиків.
І огляне священик ту боля́чку на шкурі тіла, а воло́сся на болячці перемінилося на біле, і вигляд болячки глибший від шкури тіла його, — болячка прокази воно. І огляне її священик, і ви́знає його за нечистого.
But if the bright spot is white on the skin of his body, and does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and its hair has not turned white, then the priest shall isolate the one who has the sore seven days.
А якщо болячка — біла вона на шкурі тіла його, а вигляд її не глибший від шкури, і волосся її не перемінилося на біле, то замкне священик хворого на сім день.
And the priest shall examine him on the seventh day; and indeed if the sore appears to be as it was, and the sore has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall isolate him another seven days.
І огляне її священик сьомого дня, а ось — болячка, на погляд його, спинилася, не поши́рилася та болячка по шкурі, то замкне його священик удруге на сім день.
Then the priest shall examine him again on the seventh day; and indeed if the sore has faded, and the sore has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; it is only a scab, and he shall wash his clothes and be clean.
І огляне його священик сьо́мого дня вдруге, а ось — боля́чка поблідла, не поши́рилася та болячка по шкурі, то священик ви́знає його за чистого, — лишай вона. І випере він одежу свою та й стане чистий.
But if the scab should at all spread over the skin, after he has been seen by the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen by the priest again.
А якщо справді поши́риться лишай той по шкурі по я́вленні священику на очищення його, то я́виться він удруге до священика.
І огляне священик, а ось — лишай той поши́рився по шкурі, то священик визнає його за нечистого, — прока́за воно.
“When the leprous sore is on a person, then he shall be brought to the priest.
Коли буде на люди́ні болячка прокази, то буде приведена до священика.
And the priest shall examine him; and indeed if the swelling on the skin is white, and it has turned the hair white, and there is a spot of raw flesh in the swelling,
І огляне священик, а ось на шкурі біла напу́хлина, і вона перемінила волосся на біле, і на напухлині ріст живого м'яса,
то це стара прока́за на шкурі тіла його. І священик визнає його за нечистого, але не замкне його, бо справді давно він нечистий.
“And if leprosy breaks out all over the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the one who has the sore, from his head to his foot, wherever the priest looks,
А якщо справді кинеться та прока́за по шкурі, і покриє та проказа всю шкуру хворого від голови його аж до ніг його, куди лиш глянуть очі священикові,
then the priest shall consider; and indeed if the leprosy has covered all his body, he shall pronounce him clean who has the sore. It has all turned white. He is clean.
і огляне священик, а ось — проказа та покрила все тіло його, то він визнає за чисту ту болячку: вся вона перемінилася на білу, — чиста вона.
But when raw flesh appears on him, he shall be unclean.
А того дня, коли в ній побачиться живе м'ясо, він стане нечистий.
And the priest shall examine the raw flesh and pronounce him to be unclean; for the raw flesh is unclean. It is leprosy.
І огляне священик живе м'ясо, і визнає його за нечистого; те живе м'ясо — нечисте воно, прока́за воно.
Or if the raw flesh changes and turns white again, he shall come to the priest.
Або коли живе м'ясо зно́ву перемі́ниться на біле, то він при́йде до священика.
And the priest shall examine him; and indeed if the sore has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean who has the sore. He is clean.
І огляне його священик, а ось — перемінилася болячка на білу, то священик визнає ту болячку за чисту, — чиста вона.
“If the body develops a boil in the skin, and it is healed,
А тіло, коли буде на ньому на шкурі його гноя́к, і він ви́лікуваний,
and in the place of the boil there comes a white swelling or a bright spot, reddish-white, then it shall be shown to the priest;
а на місці гнояка́ буде біла напу́хлина, або біла, червоня́ва пляма, то покажеться священикові.
and if, when the priest sees it, it indeed appears deeper than the skin, and its hair has turned white, the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a leprous sore which has broken out of the boil.
І огляне священик, а ось — вигляд її нижчий від шкури, а волосся її перемінилося на біле, то священик визнає її за нечисту, — болячка прокази вона, вона кинулась на гнояку́.
But if the priest examines it, and indeed there are no white hairs in it, and it is not deeper than the skin, but has faded, then the priest shall isolate him seven days;
А якщо огляне її священик, а ось — нема в ній білого волосся, і вона не нижча від шкури, і вона бліда, то замкне його священик на сім день.
А якщо справді пошириться по шкурі, то священик ви́знає його за нечистого, — болячка прока́зи вона.
But if the bright spot stays in one place, and has not spread, it is the scar of the boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
А якщо біла пляма спинилася на своєму місці, не поши́рилася, — вона струп чиряка́, і священик ви́знає його за чистого.
“Or if the body receives a burn on its skin by fire, and the raw flesh of the burn becomes a bright spot, reddish-white or white,
Або тіло, коли буде на шкурі його опа́лення від огню, і буде заріст того опа́лення плямкою білою червонявою або білою,
then the priest shall examine it; and indeed if the hair of the bright spot has turned white, and it appears deeper than the skin, it is leprosy broken out in the burn. Therefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a leprous sore.
то огляне її священик, а ось — перемінилось волосся в плямі на біле, а вид її глибший від шкури, — проказа вона, в опа́ленні кинулась. І визнає священик його за нечистого, — болячка прокази вона.
But if the priest examines it, and indeed there are no white hairs in the bright spot, and it is not deeper than the skin, but has faded, then the priest shall isolate him seven days.
А якщо священик огляне її, а ось у плямі нема білого волосу, і вона не нижча від шкури, і вона бліда́, то священик замкне його на сім день.
And the priest shall examine him on the seventh day. If it has at all spread over the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a leprous sore.
І огляне його священик во́сьмого дня. Якщо справді поши́риться по шкурі, то священик визнає його за нечистого — болячка прокази вона.
But if the bright spot stays in one place, and has not spread on the skin, but has faded, it is a swelling from the burn. The priest shall pronounce him clean, for it is the scar from the burn.
А якщо пляма спи́ниться на своїм місці, не поши́рилася по шкурі, і вона бліда́, — вона напухлина опа́лення. І священик визнає його за чистого, бо струп опа́лення вона.
“If a man or woman has a sore on the head or the beard,
А чоловік або жінка, коли буде на кому болячка на голові або на бороді,
then the priest shall examine the sore; and indeed if it appears deeper than the skin, and there is in it thin yellow hair, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a scaly leprosy of the head or beard.
то священик огляне ту болячку, а ось — вид її глибший від шкури, а в ній жовтий, тонки́й волос, то священик ви́знає його за нечисту, — па́рші вона, вона прока́за голови або бороди.
But if the priest examines the scaly sore, and indeed it does not appear deeper than the skin, and there is no black hair in it, then the priest shall isolate the one who has the scale seven days.
А коли священик огляне болячку па́ршів, а ось — вид її не глибший від шкури, і в ній нема чорного во́лосу, то священик замкне хворого на парші на сім день.
And on the seventh day the priest shall examine the sore; and indeed if the scale has not spread, and there is no yellow hair in it, and the scale does not appear deeper than the skin,
І огляне священик ту болячку сьо́мого дня, а ось — не поши́рилися парші, і волосся в них не стали жовті, а вид паршів не глибший від шкури,
he shall shave himself, but the scale he shall not shave. And the priest shall isolate the one who has the scale another seven days.
то він пого́литься, а паршів не поголить. І замкне священик хворого на парші вдруге на сім день.
On the seventh day the priest shall examine the scale; and indeed if the scale has not spread over the skin, and does not appear deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. He shall wash his clothes and be clean.
І огляне священик па́рші сьомого дня, а ось — парші не поши́рилися по шкурі, і їхній вид не глибший від шкури, то священик визнає його за чистого, — і він випере одежу свою, і стане чистий.
But if the scale should at all spread over the skin after his cleansing,
А якщо справді поши́ряться па́рші по шкурі по його очи́щенні,
then the priest shall examine him; and indeed if the scale has spread over the skin, the priest need not seek for yellow hair. He is unclean.
то священик огляне його, а ось — поши́рились парші по шкурі, то священик не буде досліджувати щодо жовтого волосся, — нечистий він.
But if the scale appears to be at a standstill, and there is black hair grown up in it, the scale has healed. He is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
А якщо, на його погляд, парші спини́лися, і в них виросло чорне волосся, то парші ви́лікувані, — він чистий. І священик визнає його за чистого.
“If a man or a woman has bright spots on the skin of the body, specifically white bright spots,
А чоловік або жінка, коли на шкурі їхнього тіла буде багато білих плям,
then the priest shall look; and indeed if the bright spots on the skin of the body are dull white, it is a white spot that grows on the skin. He is clean.
то огляне священик, а ось — на шкурі їхнього тіла бліді білі плями, — лишай воно, кинувся на шкурі, чистий він.
“As for the man whose hair has fallen from his head, he is bald, but he is clean.
А коли в кого облізе голова його, лисий він, — він чистий.
He whose hair has fallen from his forehead, he is bald on the forehead, but he is clean.
А якщо голова його облізла спереду його, лисий він спе́реду, — він чистий.
And if there is on the bald head or bald forehead a reddish-white sore, it is leprosy breaking out on his bald head or his bald forehead.
А коли на ли́сині ззаду або на лисині спе́реду буде біла червонява болячка, — це проказа, кинулась вона в лисині за́дній його або в лисині пере́дній його.
Then the priest shall examine it; and indeed if the swelling of the sore is reddish-white on his bald head or on his bald forehead, as the appearance of leprosy on the skin of the body,
І огляне його священик, а ось напухлина болячки біла червонява в лисині задній його або в лисині передній його, як вигляд прокази на шкурі тіла,
то це чоловік прокаже́ний, — нечистий він. Конче визнає священик його за нечистого, — на голові його болячка його.
“Now the leper on whom the sore is, his clothes shall be torn and his head bare; and he shall cover his mustache, and cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’
А прокаже́ний, що проказа на ньому, — одежа його буде розде́рта, а голова його буде відкрита, і по у́ста закриє, і буде кричати: „Нечистий, нечистий!“
По всі дні, коли болячка на ньому, буде нечистий, — він нечистий. Самітний буде пробува́ти він, — поза табо́ром оселя його.
А одежа, коли буде на ній зараза прокази, на одежі вовняній або на одежі льняній,
whether it is in the warp or woof of linen or wool, whether in leather or in anything made of leather,
або на нитці прямовісній, або на нитці позе́мій із льону та вовни, або на шкурі, або на всякім шкурянім ви́робі,
і буде та зараза зеленя́ва або червоня́ва на одежі, або на шкурі, або на нитці прямовісній, або на нитці поземій, або на всякій шкуряній речі, — зараза прокази воно. І буде воно показане священикові.
The priest shall examine the plague and isolate that which has the plague seven days.
І огляне священик ту зара́зу, та й замкне заразливе на сім день.
And he shall examine the plague on the seventh day. If the plague has spread in the garment, either in the warp or in the woof, in the leather or in anything made of leather, the plague is an active leprosy. It is unclean.
А дня сьомого огляне він ту заразу; коли зараза та поши́рилася на одежі, або на нитці прямові́сній, або на нитці позе́мій, або на шкурі, на всьому, що зро́блене зо шкури, — та зараза злосли́ва проказа, нечиста вона.
He shall therefore burn that garment in which is the plague, whether warp or woof, in wool or in linen, or anything of leather, for it is an active leprosy; the garment shall be burned in the fire.
І він спалить ту одежу, або нитку прямовісну, або нитку позему в вовні або в льоні, або всяку річ шкуряну́, що буде на ній зараза, — бо злослива проказа це, огнем буде спа́лена.
“But if the priest examines it, and indeed the plague has not spread in the garment, either in the warp or in the woof, or in anything made of leather,
А якщо священик побачить, а ось — не поши́рилася зараза на одежі, або на нитці прямовісній, або на нитці поземій, або на всякій речі шкуряній,
then the priest shall command that they wash the thing in which is the plague; and he shall isolate it another seven days.
то священик накаже, і виперуть те, що на ньому зараза. І він замкне́ те вдруге на сім день.
Then the priest shall examine the plague after it has been washed; and indeed if the plague has not changed its color, though the plague has not spread, it is unclean, and you shall burn it in the fire; it continues eating away, whether the damage is outside or inside.
І огляне священик заразу по ви́пранні, і ось, — зараза не перемінила свого вигляду, і зараза не поши́рилася, — нечиста вона, огнем її спалите; вона загли́блення на стороні його передній або на стороні його задній.
If the priest examines it, and indeed the plague has faded after washing it, then he shall tear it out of the garment, whether out of the warp or out of the woof, or out of the leather.
А якщо священик побачив, а ось — зараза та зблідла по ви́пранні її, то він віді́рве її від одежі або від шкури, або від нитки прямовісної, або від нитки поземої.
But if it appears again in the garment, either in the warp or in the woof, or in anything made of leather, it is a spreading plague; you shall burn with fire that in which is the plague.
А якщо вона покажеться ще на одежі, або на нитці прямовісній, або на нитці поземій, або на якій шкуряній речі, — то це ши́риться вона, огнем спалиш те, що на ньому та зараза.
And if you wash the garment, either warp or woof, or whatever is made of leather, if the plague has disappeared from it, then it shall be washed a second time, and shall be clean.
А одежа, або нитка прямовісна, або нитка позе́ма, або яка шкуряна́ річ, що випереш і зійде від них та зараза, то буде випрана вдруге, — і буде чиста.
“This is the law of the leprous plague in a garment of wool or linen, either in the warp or woof, or in anything made of leather, to pronounce it clean or to pronounce it unclean.”
Оце зако́н про хворобу прокази на одежі вовняній або на льняній, або на нитці прямовісній, або на нитці позе́мій, або на шкурі, — на очи́щення її або на призна́ння її за нечисту“.
