    Vision of the High Priest

    Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan[a] standing at his right hand to oppose him.

    І показав Він мені Ісуса, великого священика, що стояв перед лицем Господнього ангола, а сатана́ стояв по прави́ці його, щоб противитися йому.

    And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”

    І сказав Господь сатані: „Господь буде карта́ти тебе, сатано́, і буде карта́ти тебе Господь, Який вибрав Собі Єрусалима! Чи ж він не голове́шка, що вцілі́ла від огню?“

    Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.

    А Ісус одя́гнений був у брудну́ одежу, і стояв перед лицем ангола.

    Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.”

    І він заговорив та й сказав до тих, що стояли перед його лицем, говорячи: „Здійміть з нього цю брудну́ оде́жу!“ І сказав він йому: „Я зняв з те́бе провину твою, і зодягну́ тебе в шати кошто́вні“.

    And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.”
    So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the Lord stood by.

    І він сказав: „Нехай покладуть чистого заво́я на його го́лову!“ І поклали чистого заво́я на його го́лову, і зодягли́ його в шати, а ангол Господній стояв.

    The Coming Branch

    Then the Angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying,

    І осві́дчив ангол Господній Ісусові, промовля́ючи:

    “Thus says the Lord of hosts:
    ‘If you will walk in My ways,
    And if you will keep My command,
    Then you shall also judge My house,
    And likewise have charge of My courts;
    I will give you places to walk
    Among these who stand here.

    Так говорить Госпо́дь Савао́т: Якщо ти бу́деш ходити Моїми доро́гами, і якщо стерегти́меш сторо́жу Мою, тоді й ти будеш судити Мій дім, і також будеш стерегти́ Мої подві́р'я, і дам тобі ходити поміж тими, що стоять тут.

    ‘Hear, O Joshua, the high priest,
    You and your companions who sit before you,
    For they are a[b] wondrous sign;
    For behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH.

    Послухай но, Ісусе, великий священику, ти та ближні твої, що сидять перед тобою, бо вони му́жі знаме́нні, бо ось Я приведу́ Свого раба Пагінця́.

    For behold, the stone
    That I have laid before Joshua:
    Upon the stone are seven eyes.
    Behold, I will engrave its inscription,’
    Says the Lord of hosts,
    ‘And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

    Бо оце той камінь, що його Я поклав перед Ісусом. На одном}камені сім оче́й. Ось Я ви́різблю на ньому різьбу́ його, — говорить Господь Саваот, — і відкину вину цієї землі за один день.

    In that day,’ says the Lord of hosts,
    ‘Everyone will invite his neighbor
    Under his vine and under his fig tree.’ ”

    Того дня, — говорить Господь Саваот, — ви будете кликати один о́дного під виноград і під фіґове дерево“.
