“Make two silver trumpets for yourself; you shall make them of hammered work; you shall use them for calling the congregation and for directing the movement of the camps.
сделай себе две серебряные трубы, чеканные сделай их, чтобы они служили тебе для созывания общества и для снятия станов;
When they blow both of them, all the congregation shall gather before you at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
когда затрубят ими, соберётся к тебе всё общество ко входу скинии собрания;
But if they blow only one, then the leaders, the heads of the divisions of Israel, shall gather to you.
когда одною трубою затрубят, соберутся к тебе князья и тысяченачальники Израилевы;
When you sound the advance, the camps that lie on the east side shall then begin their journey.
когда затрубите тревогу, поднимутся станы, становящиеся к востоку;
When you sound the advance the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall begin their journey; they shall sound the call for them to begin their journeys.
когда во второй раз затрубите тревогу, поднимутся станы, становящиеся к югу; тревогу пусть трубят при отправлении их в путь;
And when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but not sound the advance.
а когда надобно собрать собрание, трубите, но не тревогу;
сыны Аароновы, священники, должны трубить трубами: это будет вам постановлением вечным в роды ваши;
“When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the Lord your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.
и когда пойдёте на войну в земле вашей против врага, наступающего на вас, трубите тревогу трубами — и будете воспомянуты пред Господом, Богом вашим, и спасены будете от врагов ваших;
Also in the day of your gladness, in your appointed feasts, and at the beginning of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be a memorial for you before your God: I am the Lord your God.”
и в день веселия вашего, и в праздники ваши, и в новомесячия ваши трубите трубами при всесожжениях ваших и при мирных жертвах ваших, — и это будет напоминанием о вас пред Богом вашим. Я Господь, Бог ваш.
Departure from Sinai
Now it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle of the Testimony.

Во второй год, во второй месяц, в двадцатый день месяца поднялось облако от скинии откровения;
And the children of Israel set out from the Wilderness of Sinai on their journeys; then the cloud settled down in the Wilderness of Paran.
и отправились сыны Израилевы по станам своим из пустыни Синайской, и остановилось облако в пустыне Фаран.
So they started out for the first time according to the command of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
И поднялись они в первый раз, по повелению Господню, данному через Моисея.
Поднято было во первых знамя стана сынов Иудиных по ополчениям их; над ополчением их Наассон, сын Аминадава;
Over the army of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethanel the son of Zuar.
и над ополчением колена сынов Иссахаровых Нафанаил, сын Цуара;
And over the army of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.
и над ополчением колена сынов Завулоновых Елиав, сын Хелона.
Then the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set out, carrying the tabernacle.
И снята была скиния, и пошли сыны Гирсоновы и сыны Мерарины, носящие скинию.
And the standard of the camp of Reuben set out according to their armies; over their army was Elizur the son of Shedeur.
И поднято было знамя стана Рувимова по ополчениям их; и над ополчением его Елицур, сын Шедеура;
Over the army of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
и над ополчением колена сынов Симеоновых Шелумиил, сын Цуришаддая;
And over the army of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
и над ополчением колена сынов Гадовых Елиасаф, сын Регуила.
Потом пошли сыны Каафовы, носящие святилище; скиния же была поставляема до прихода их.
And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set out according to their armies; over their army was Elishama the son of Ammihud.
И поднято было знамя стана сынов Ефремовых по ополчениям их; и над ополчением их Елишама, сын Аммиуда;
Over the army of the tribe of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
и над ополчением колена сынов Манассииных Гамалиил, сын Педацура;
And over the army of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.
и над ополчением колена сынов Вениаминовых Авидан, сын Гидеония.
Then the standard of the camp of the children of Dan (the rear guard of all the camps) set out according to their armies; over their army was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
Последним из всех станов поднято было знамя стана сынов Дановых с ополчениями их; и над ополчением их Ахиезер, сын Аммишаддая;
Over the army of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ocran.
и над ополчением колена сынов Асировых Пагиил, сын Охрана;
And over the army of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.
и над ополчением колена сынов Неффалимовых Ахира, сын Енана.
Thus was the order of march of the children of Israel, according to their armies, when they began their journey.
Вот порядок шествия сынов Израилевых по ополчениям их. И отправились они.
И сказал Моисей Ховаву, сыну Рагуилову, Мадианитянину, родственнику Моисееву: мы отправляемся в то место, о котором Господь сказал: «вам отдам его»; иди с нами, мы сделаем тебе добро, ибо Господь доброе изрёк об Израиле.
And he said to him, “I will not go, but I will depart to my own land and to my relatives.”
Но он сказал ему: не пойду; я пойду в свою землю и на свою родину.
Моисей же сказал: не оставляй нас, потому что ты знаешь, как располагаемся мы станом в пустыне, и будешь для нас глазом;
And it shall be, if you go with us — indeed it shall be — that whatever good the Lord will do to us, the same we will do to you.”
если пойдёшь с нами, то добро, которое Господь сделает нам, мы сделаем тебе.
So they departed from the mountain of the Lord on a journey of three days; and the ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them for the three days’ journey, to search out a resting place for them.
И отправились они от горы Господней на три дня пути, и ковчег завета Господня шёл пред ними три дня пути, чтоб усмотреть им место, где остановиться.
And the cloud of the Lord was above them by day when they went out from the camp.
И облако Господне осеняло их днём, когда они отправлялись из стана.
So it was, whenever the ark set out, that Moses said:
“Rise up, O Lord!
Let Your enemies be scattered,
And let those who hate You flee before You.”

Когда поднимался ковчег в путь, Моисей говорил: восстань, Господи, и рассыплются враги Твои, и побегут от лица Твоего ненавидящие Тебя!
