The Appointed Boundaries of Canaan
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
И сказал Господь Моисею, говоря:
“Command the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you as an inheritance — the land of Canaan to its boundaries.
дай повеление сынам Израилевым и скажи им: когда войдёте в землю Ханаанскую, то вот земля, которая достанется вам в удел, земля Ханаанская с её границами:
Your southern border shall be from the Wilderness of Zin along the border of Edom; then your southern border shall extend eastward to the end of the Salt Sea;
южная сторона будет у вас от пустыни Син, подле Едома, и пойдёт у вас южная граница от конца Солёного моря с востока,
your border shall turn from the southern side of the Ascent of Akrabbim, continue to Zin, and be on the south of Kadesh Barnea; then it shall go on to Hazar Addar, and continue to Azmon;
и направится граница на юг к возвышенности Акравима и пойдёт через Син, и будут выступы её на юг к Кадес-Варни, оттуда пойдёт к Гацар-Аддару и пройдёт через Ацмон;
the border shall turn from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and it shall end at the Sea.
от Ацмона направится граница к потоку Египетскому, и будут выступы её к морю;
‘As for the western border, you shall have the Great Sea for a border; this shall be your western border.
а границею западною будет у вас великое море: это будет у вас граница к западу;
‘And this shall be your northern border: From the Great Sea you shall mark out your border line to Mount Hor;
к северу же будет у вас граница: от великого моря проведите её к горе Ор,
from Mount Hor you shall mark out your border to the entrance of Hamath; then the direction of the border shall be toward Zedad;
от горы Ор проведите к Емафу, и будут выступы границы к Цедаду;
the border shall proceed to Ziphron, and it shall end at Hazar Enan. This shall be your northern border.
оттуда пойдёт граница к Цифрону, и выступы её будут к Гацар-Енану: это будет у вас граница северная;
‘You shall mark out your eastern border from Hazar Enan to Shepham;
границу восточную проведите себе от Гацар-Енана к Шефаму,
от Шефама пойдёт граница к Рибле, с восточной стороны Аина, потом пойдёт граница и коснётся берегов моря Киннереф с восточной стороны;
the border shall go down along the Jordan, and it shall end at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land with its surrounding boundaries.’ ”
и пойдёт граница к Иордану, и будут выступы её к Солёному морю. Это будет земля ваша по границам её со всех сторон.
Then Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying: “This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which the Lord has commanded to give to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe.
И дал повеление Моисей сынам Израилевым и сказал: вот земля, которую вы разделите на уделы по жребию, которую повелел Господь дать девяти коленам и половине колена;
For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and the half-tribe of Manasseh has received its inheritance.
ибо колено сынов Рувимовых по семействам их, и колено сынов Гадовых по семействам их, и половина колена Манассиина получили удел свой:
The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance on this side of the Jordan, across from Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.”
два колена и половина колена получили удел свой за Иорданом против Иерихона к востоку.
The Leaders Appointed to Divide the Land
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
И сказал Господь Моисею, говоря:
“These are the names of the men who shall divide the land among you as an inheritance: Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun.
вот имена мужей, которые будут делить вам землю: Елеазар священник и Иисус, сын Навин;
And you shall take one leader of every tribe to divide the land for the inheritance.
и по одному князю от колена возьмите для раздела земли.
These are the names of the men: from the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh;
И вот имена сих мужей: для колена Иудина Халев, сын Иефонниин;
from the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud;
для колена сынов Симеоновых Самуил, сын Аммиуда;
from the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon;
для колена Вениаминова Елидад, сын Кислона;
a leader from the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli;
для колена сынов Дановых князь Буккий, сын Иоглии;
from the sons of Joseph: a leader from the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod,
для сынов Иосифовых, для колена сынов Манассииных князь Ханниил, сын Ефода;
and a leader from the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan;
для колена сынов Ефремовых князь Кемуил, сын Шифтана;
a leader from the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach;
для колена сынов Завулоновых князь Елицафан, сын Фарнака;
a leader from the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan;
для колена сынов Иссахаровых князь Фалтиил, сын Аззана;
a leader from the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi;
для колена сынов Асировых князь Ахиуд, сын Шеломия;
and a leader from the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”
для колена сынов Неффалимовых князь Педаил, сын Аммиуда;
