He Is Risen

Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him.

Як минула ж субота, Марія Магдали́на, і Марія Яковова, і Саломі́я накупили па́хощів, щоб піти й намастити Його.

Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.

І на світа́нку дня першого в тижні, як схо́дило сонце, до гро́бу вони прибули́,

And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?”

і говорили одна о́дній: „Хто відвалить нам каменя від могильних дверей?“

But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away — for it was very large.

А зиркну́вши, побачили, що камінь відва́лений; був же він дуже великий.

And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.

І, ввійшовши до гро́бу, побачили там юнака́, що право́руч сидів, і був одя́гнений в білу одежу, — і жахнулись вони.

But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.

А він промовляє до них: „Не жахайтесь! Ви шукаєте Розп'я́того, Ісуса Назаряни́на. Він воскрес, — нема Його тут! Ось місце, де Його поховали були́.

But go, tell His disciples — and Peter — that He is going [a]before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”

Але йдіть, скажіть у́чням Його та Петрові: Він іде в Галілею попе́реду вас, — там Його ви побачите, як Він вам говорив“.

So they went out [b]quickly and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

А як вийшли вони, то побігли від гро́бу, бо їх тре́пет та страх обгорнув. І не сказали ніко́му нічо́го, — бо боялись.

Mary Magdalene Sees the Risen Lord

[c]Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.

Як воскрес Він уранці дня першого в тижні, то з'явився найперше Марїї Магдали́ні, із якої був вигнав сім демонів.

She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept.

Пішовши вона, повідомила тих, що були з Ним, які сумували та плакали.

And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.

А вони, як почули, що живий Він, і вона Його бачила, не йняли́ тому віри.

Jesus Appears to Two Disciples

After that, He appeared in another form to two of them as they walked and went into the country.

По цьому з'явився Він двом із них у по́статі іншій в дорозі, як ішли вони на село.

And they went and told it to the rest, but they did not believe them either.

А вони, як вернулися, інших про те сповістили, але не повірено й їм.

The Great Commission

Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.

Наре́шті, Він з'явився Одинадцятьо́м, як сиділи вони при столі, і докоряв їм за недові́рство їхнє та твердосе́рдя, що вони не йняли́ віри тим, хто воскреслого бачив Його.

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

І казав Він до них: „Ідіть по ці́лому світові, та всьому створінню Єва́нгелію проповідуйте!

16

He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

16

Хто увірує й охри́ститься, — буде спасе́ний, а хто не ввірує — засу́джений буде.

17

And these signs will follow those who [d]believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

А тих, хто ввірує, супрово́дити будуть озна́ки такі: у Ім'я́ Моє де́монів будуть виго́нити, говоритимуть мовами нови́ми,

18

they[e] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

братимуть змій; а коли смертоді́йне що вип'ють, — не буде їм шко́дити; кластимуть руки на хворих, — і добре їм буде!“

Christ Ascends to God’s Right Hand

So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

19

Господь же Ісус, по розмові із ними, возні́сся на небо, — і сів по Божій прави́ці.

20

And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

20

І пішли вони, і скрізь проповідували. А Господь помагав їм, і стве́рджував слово ознаками, що його супрово́дили. Амі́нь.
