Not Philosophy but Christ

For I want you to know what a great conflict[a] I have for you and those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh,

Желаю, чтобы вы знали, какой подвиг имею я ради вас и ради тех, которые в Лаодикии и Иераполе, и ради всех, кто не видел лица моего в плоти,

that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, [b]both of the Father and of Christ,

дабы утешились сердца их, соединённые в любви для всякого богатства совершенного разумения, для познания тайны Бога и Отца и Христа,

in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

в Котором сокрыты все сокровища премудрости и ведения.

Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words.

Это говорю я для того, чтобы кто-нибудь не прельстил вас вкрадчивыми словами;

For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing [c]to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.

ибо хотя я и отсутствую телом, но духом нахожусь с вами, радуясь и видя ваше благоустройство и твёрдость веры вашей во Христа.

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,

Посему, как вы приняли Христа Иисуса Господа, так и ходите в Нём,

rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding [d]in it with thanksgiving.

будучи укоренены и утверждены в Нём и укреплены в вере, как вы научены, преуспевая в ней с благодарением.

Beware lest anyone [e]cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.

Смотрите, братия, чтобы кто не увлёк вас философиею и пустым обольщением, по преданию человеческому, по стихиям мира, а не по Христу;

9

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead [f]bodily;

9

ибо в Нём обитает вся полнота Божества телесно,

10

and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all [g]principality and power.

10

и вы имеете полноту в Нём, Который есть глава всякого начальства и власти.

Not Legalism but Christ

In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body [h]of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,

В Нём вы и обрезаны обрезанием нерукотворенным, совлечением греховного тела плоти, обрезанием Христовым;

12

buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

быв погребены с Ним в крещении, в Нём вы и совоскресли верою в силу Бога, Который воскресил Его из мёртвых,

13

And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,

13

и вас, которые были мертвы во грехах и в необрезании плоти вашей, оживил вместе с Ним, простив нам все грехи,

14

having wiped out the [i]handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

истребив учением бывшее о нас рукописание, которое было против нас, и Он взял его от среды и пригвоздил ко кресту;

15

Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

15

отняв силы у начальств и властей, властно подверг их позору, восторжествовав над ними Собою.

16

So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a [j]festival or a new moon or sabbaths,

16

Итак, никто да не осуждает вас за пищу, или питие, или за какой-нибудь праздник, или новомесячие, или субботу:

17

which are a shadow of things to come, but the [k]substance is of Christ.

17

это есть тень будущего, а тело — во Христе.

18

Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has [l]not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

18

Никто да не обольщает вас самовольным смиренномудрием и служением Ангелов, вторгаясь в то, чего не видел, безрассудно надмеваясь плотским своим умом

19

and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.

19

и не держась главы, от которой всё тело, составами и связями будучи соединяемо и скрепляемо, растёт возрастом Божиим.

20

[m]Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations —

Итак, если вы со Христом умерли для стихий мира, то для чего вы, как живущие в мире, держитесь постановлений:

21

“Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,”

21

«не прикасайся», «не вкушай», «не дотрагивайся», —

22

which all concern things which perish with the using — according to the commandments and doctrines of men?

22

что всё истлевает от употребления, — по заповедям и учению человеческому?

23

These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and [n]neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.

23

Это имеет только вид мудрости в самовольном служении, смиренномудрии и изнурении тела, в некотором небрежении о насыщении плоти.
