И увидел Иоав, что неприятельское войско было поставлено против него и спереди и сзади, и избрал воинов из всех отборных в Израиле, и выстроил их против Сирийцев;

Побачивши Йоав, що йому грозить битва і спереду й ззаду, вибрав щонайдобірніших з Ізраїля й вишикував їх у лаву проти араміїв;

Когда Иоав увидел, что сражаться придется и впереди, и сзади, он отобрал лучших воинов Израиля и выстроил их против арамеев.

Йоав побачив, що бойова лава була якраз напроти нього, як спереду, так і ззаду, і вибрав декого з усіх молодців Ізраїля, і розбив табір позаду Сирії.
