Ben-Hadad’s Second Attack
After their defeat, Ben-hadad’s officers said to him, “The Israelite gods are gods of the hills; that is why they won. But we can beat them easily on the plains.

And the servants of the king of Syria said unto him, Their gods are gods of the hills; therefore they were stronger than we; but let us fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they.

The Syrians Again Defeated
Then the servants of the king of Syria said to him, “Their gods are gods of the hills. Therefore they were stronger than we; but if we fight against them in the plain, surely we will be stronger than they. -

А слуги сирійського царя сказали йому: „Бог гір — їхній Бог, тому́ вони були сильніші від нас. Але воюймо з ними на рівни́ні, — присягаємо, що бу́демо сильніші від них!

Тем временем приближенные царя Арама советовали ему:
— Их Бог — это Бог гор. Вот почему они слишком сильны для нас. Но если мы сразимся с ними на равнине, мы непременно окажемся сильнее их. -
І Господь сказав про Єзавель, проголошуючи: Пси пожеруть її у твердині Єзраела!
