New Living Translation
So a horseman went out to meet Jehu and said, “The king wants to know if you are coming in peace.”
Jehu replied, “What do you know about peace? Fall in behind me!”
The watchman called out to the king, “The messenger has met them, but he’s not returning.”

So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.

“What do you have to do with peace?” Jehu replied. “Fall in behind me.”
The lookout reported, “The messenger has reached them, but he isn’t coming back.” -

І відправився верхіве́ць назу́стріч йому, і сказав: „Так сказав цар: Чи все гара́зд?“ А Єгу́ відказав: „Що́ тобі до того? Повертай за мною!“ І доніс вартови́й, говорячи: „Прийшов той посо́л аж до них, та не вернувся“.

Всадник выехал навстречу Ииую и сказал:
— Царь спрашивает, с миром ли вы?
— Что тебе до мира? — ответил Ииуй. — Поезжай за мной.
И часовой доложил:
— Посланец доехал до них, но назад не возвращается. -
І вершник на коні вирушив їм назустріч, і сказав: Так говорить цар: Чи мир? А Ія відповів: Що тобі й мирові? Поверни за мною! І вартовий сповістив, повідомляючи: Гонець підійшов аж до них, та не повернувся!
