New Living Translation

New International Version

  • A psalm of David.

    Let all that I am praise the LORD;
    with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
  • Psalm 103
    Of David.

    Praise the Lord, my soul;
    all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
  • Let all that I am praise the LORD;
    may I never forget the good things he does for me.
  • Praise the Lord, my soul,
    and forget not all his benefits —
  • He forgives all my sins
    and heals all my diseases.
  • who forgives all your sins
    and heals all your diseases,
  • He redeems me from death
    and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
  • who redeems your life from the pit
    and crowns you with love and compassion,
  • He fills my life with good things.
    My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
  • who satisfies your desires with good things
    so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
  • The LORD gives righteousness
    and justice to all who are treated unfairly.
  • The Lord works righteousness
    and justice for all the oppressed.
  • He revealed his character to Moses
    and his deeds to the people of Israel.
  • He made known his ways to Moses,
    his deeds to the people of Israel:
  • The LORD is compassionate and merciful,
    slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
  • The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
    slow to anger, abounding in love.
  • He will not constantly accuse us,
    nor remain angry forever.
  • He will not always accuse,
    nor will he harbor his anger forever;
  • He does not punish us for all our sins;
    he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.
  • he does not treat us as our sins deserve
    or repay us according to our iniquities.
  • For his unfailing love toward those who fear him
    is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.
  • For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
    so great is his love for those who fear him;
  • He has removed our sins as far from us
    as the east is from the west.
  • as far as the east is from the west,
    so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
  • The LORD is like a father to his children,
    tender and compassionate to those who fear him.
  • As a father has compassion on his children,
    so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
  • For he knows how weak we are;
    he remembers we are only dust.
  • for he knows how we are formed,
    he remembers that we are dust.
  • Our days on earth are like grass;
    like wildflowers, we bloom and die.
  • The life of mortals is like grass,
    they flourish like a flower of the field;
  • The wind blows, and we are gone —
    as though we had never been here.
  • the wind blows over it and it is gone,
    and its place remembers it no more.
  • But the love of the LORD remains forever
    with those who fear him.
    His salvation extends to the children’s children
  • But from everlasting to everlasting
    the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
    and his righteousness with their children’s children —
  • of those who are faithful to his covenant,
    of those who obey his commandments!
  • with those who keep his covenant
    and remember to obey his precepts.
  • The LORD has made the heavens his throne;
    from there he rules over everything.
  • The Lord has established his throne in heaven,
    and his kingdom rules over all.
  • Praise the LORD, you angels,
    you mighty ones who carry out his plans,
    listening for each of his commands.
  • Praise the Lord, you his angels,
    you mighty ones who do his bidding,
    who obey his word.
  • Yes, praise the LORD, you armies of angels
    who serve him and do his will!
  • Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts,
    you his servants who do his will.
  • Praise the LORD, everything he has created,
    everything in all his kingdom.
    Let all that I am praise the LORD.
  • Praise the Lord, all his works
    everywhere in his dominion.
    Praise the Lord, my soul.
