Let all that I am praise the LORD.
O LORD my God, how great you are!
You are robed with honor and majesty.

Дякуйте Господу, кличте Ім'я́ Його́, серед наро́дів звіщайте про чи́ни Його!

2

You are dressed in a robe of light.
You stretch out the starry curtain of the heavens;

Співайте Йому, грайте Йому, говоріть про всі чу́да Його́!

3

you lay out the rafters of your home in the rain clouds.
You make the clouds your chariot;
you ride upon the wings of the wind.

3

Хваліться святим Його Йме́нням, хай ті́шиться серце шука́ючих Господа!

4

The winds are your messengers;
flames of fire are your servants.a

4

Пошу́куйте Господа й силу Його, лице Його за́вжди шукайте!

5

You placed the world on its foundation
so it would never be moved.

5

Пам'ятайте про чу́да Його, які Він учинив, про озна́ки Його та про при́суди уст Його,

6

You clothed the earth with floods of water,
water that covered even the mountains.

6

ви, насіння Авраама, раба Його, сини Яковові, вибра́нці Його́!

7

At your command, the water fled;
at the sound of your thunder, it hurried away.

7

Він — Госпо́дь, Бог наш, по ці́лій землі Його при́суди!

8

Mountains rose and valleys sank
to the levels you decreed.

Він пам'ятає наві́ки Свого заповіта, те слово, яке наказав був на тисячу родів,

9

Then you set a firm boundary for the seas,
so they would never again cover the earth.

що склав Він його з Авраа́мом, і прися́гу Свою — для Ісака.

10

You make springs pour water into the ravines,
so streams gush down from the mountains.

10

Він поставив її за Зако́на для Якова, Ізраїлеві — заповітом навіки,

They provide water for all the animals,
and the wild donkeys quench their thirst.

говорячи: „Я дам тобі Край ханаа́нський, частину спа́дщини для вас“!

12

The birds nest beside the streams
and sing among the branches of the trees.

12

Тоді їх було́ невелике число, нечисле́нні були та прихо́дьки на ній,

13

You send rain on the mountains from your heavenly home,
and you fill the earth with the fruit of your labor.

13

і ходили вони від наро́ду до наро́ду, від царства до іншого лю́ду.

14

You cause grass to grow for the livestock
and plants for people to use.
You allow them to produce food from the earth —

Не дозво́лив ніко́му Він кри́вдити їх, і за них Він царям докоря́в:

15

wine to make them glad,
olive oil to soothe their skin,
and bread to give them strength.

15

„Не дото́ркуйтеся до Моїх помаза́нців, а пророкам Моїм не робі́те лихого!“

16

The trees of the LORD are well cared for —
the cedars of Lebanon that he planted.

16

І покликав Він голод на землю, всяке хлі́бне стебло́ полама́в.

17

There the birds make their nests,
and the storks make their homes in the cypresses.

17

Перед їхнім обличчям Він мужа послав, — за раба Йо́сип про́даний був.

18

High in the mountains live the wild goats,
and the rocks form a refuge for the hyraxes.b

18

Кайда́нами му́чили но́ги його, залізо пройшло в його тіло,

19

You made the moon to mark the seasons,
and the sun knows when to set.

19

аж до ча́су випо́внення сло́ва Його, — слово Господнє його було ви́явило.

20

You send the darkness, and it becomes night,
when all the forest animals prowl about.

20

Цар послав — і його розв'яза́в, воло́дар народів — і його був звільни́в.

21

Then the young lions roar for their prey,
stalking the food provided by God.

21

Він настанови́в його паном над домом своїм, і воло́дарем над усім маєтком своїм,

22

At dawn they slink back
into their dens to rest.

22

щоб в'язни́в він його можновла́дців по волі своїй, а старших його умудря́в.

23

Then people go off to their work,
where they labor until evening.

І Ізраїль прибув до Єги́пту, і Яків заме́шкав у Ха́мовім кра́ї.

24

O LORD, what a variety of things you have made!
In wisdom you have made them all.
The earth is full of your creatures.

24

А наро́д Свій Він сильно розмно́жив, і зробив був рясні́шим його від його ворогів.

25

Here is the ocean, vast and wide,
teeming with life of every kind,
both large and small.

25

Він переміни́в їхнє серце, щоб народа Його ненави́діли, щоб брались на хи́трощі проти рабів Його.

26

See the ships sailing along,
and Leviathan,c which you made to play in the sea.

26

Він послав був Мойсея, Свого раба, Аарона, що вибрав його,

27

They all depend on you
to give them food as they need it.

27

— вони положили були серед них Його ре́чі знаме́нні, та чу́да у Ха́мовім кра́ї.

28

When you supply it, they gather it.
You open your hand to feed them,
and they are richly satisfied.

28

Він темно́ту наслав — і поте́мніло, і вони не проти́вились слову Його.

29

But if you turn away from them, they panic.
When you take away their breath,
they die and turn again to dust.

29

Він перемінив їхню воду на кров, і вмори́в їхню рибу.

30

When you give them your breath,d life is created,
and you renew the face of the earth.

30

Їхній край зарої́вся був жа́бами, навіть в поко́ях царів їхніх.

31

May the glory of the LORD continue forever!
The LORD takes pleasure in all he has made!

31

Він сказав — й прибули́ рої мух, воші в ці́лому о́бширі їхньому.

32

The earth trembles at his glance;
the mountains smoke at his touch.

32

Він градом зробив їхній дощ, палю́чий огонь — на їхню землю.

33

I will sing to the LORD as long as I live.
I will praise my God to my last breath!

33

І Він повибивав виноград їхній та фіґове дерево їхнє, і дереви́ну на о́бширі їхньому повило́млював.

34

May all my thoughts be pleasing to him,
for I rejoice in the LORD.

34

Він сказав — і найшла сарана́ та гу́сінь без ліку, —

35

Let all sinners vanish from the face of the earth;
let the wicked disappear forever.
Let all that I am praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD!

35
