O LORD, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!
Your glory is higher than the heavens.

You have taught children and infants
to tell of your strength,b
silencing your enemies
and all who oppose you.

Господи, Боже наш! как величественно имя Твоё по всей земле! Слава Твоя простирается превыше небес!

When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers —
the moon and the stars you set in place —

Из уст младенцев и грудных детей Ты устроил хвалу, ради врагов Твоих, дабы сделать безмолвным врага и мстителя.

what are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them?c

Когда взираю я на небеса Твои — дело Твоих перстов, на луну и звёзды, которые Ты поставил,

Yet you made them only a little lower than Godd
and crowned theme with glory and honor.

то что есть человек, что Ты помнишь его, и сын человеческий, что Ты посещаешь его?

You gave them charge of everything you made,
putting all things under their authority —

Не много Ты умалил его пред Ангелами: славою и честью увенчал его;

the flocks and the herds
and all the wild animals,

поставил его владыкою над делами рук Твоих; всё положил под ноги его:

the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea,
and everything that swims the ocean currents.

овец и волов всех, и также полевых зверей,

O LORD, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!

птиц небесных и рыб морских, всё, преходящее морскими стезями.
