Craftsmen: Bezalel and Oholiab
Then the LORD said to Moses,
Then the LORD said to Moses,
І промовив Господь до Мойсея, говорячи:
“Look, I have specifically chosen Bezalel son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
„Дивися, — Я покликав на ім'я́ Бецал'ї́ла, сина Урієвого, сина Хура, Юдиного племени,
I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.
і напо́внив його Духом Божим, мудрістю, і розумуванням, і знання́м, і здібністю до всякої роботи,
He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver, and bronze.
на обми́слення мистецьке, на роботу в золоті, і в сріблі, і в міді,
He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft!
і в обро́бленні каменя, щоб всаджувати, і в обробленні дерева, щоб робити в усякій роботі.
“And I have personally appointed Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, to be his assistant. Moreover, I have given special skill to all the gifted craftsmen so they can make all the things I have commanded you to make:
І Я ото дав із ним Оголіява, Ахісамахового сина, Данового племени. А в серце кожного мудросердого Я дав мудрість, — і зроблять вони все, що Я наказав був тобі:
ски́нію заповіту, і ковчега для свідоцтва, і віко, що на ньому, і всі скині́йні речі,
the table and its utensils;
the pure gold lampstand with all its accessories;
the incense altar;

і стола та речі його, і чистого свічника та всі речі його, і жертівника кадила,
the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils;
the washbasin with its stand;

і жертівника цілопа́лення та всі речі його, і вмивальницю та підставу її,
the beautifully stitched garments — the sacred garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments for his sons to wear as they minister as priests;
і ша́ти служебні, і ша́ти свяще́нні для священика Аарона, і ша́ти синів його на священнослу́ження,
the anointing oil;
the fragrant incense for the Holy Place.
The craftsmen must make everything as I have commanded you.”

і оливу пома́зання, і запашне́ кадило для святині, — як усе, що Я наказав був тобі, вони зроблять“.
Instructions for the Sabbath
The LORD then gave these instructions to Moses:
І промовив Господь до Мойсея, гово́рячи:
“Tell the people of Israel: ‘Be careful to keep my Sabbath day, for the Sabbath is a sign of the covenant between me and you from generation to generation. It is given so you may know that I am the LORD, who makes you holy.
„А ти промовляй Ізраїлевим синам, говорячи: Тільки суботи Мої бу́дете пильнувати, бо це знак поміж Мною та поміж вами для ваших поколінь, щоб ви пізнали, що Я — Госпо́дь, що освячує вас!
You must keep the Sabbath day, for it is a holy day for you. Anyone who desecrates it must be put to death; anyone who works on that day will be cut off from the community.
І будете пильнувати суботу, бо вона святість для вас. Хто опога́нить її, той конче буде забитий, бо кожен, хто робить у ній роботу, то буде стята душа та з-посеред наро́дів її!
You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day must be a Sabbath day of complete rest, a holy day dedicated to the LORD. Anyone who works on the Sabbath must be put to death.
Шість день буде робитися праця, а дня сьомого — субота відпочинку від праці, святість для Господа. Кожен, хто робить роботу за субо́тнього дня, той конче буде забитий!
The people of Israel must keep the Sabbath day by observing it from generation to generation. This is a covenant obligation for all time.
І будуть Ізраїлеві сини доде́ржувати суботу, щоб зробити суботу вічним заповітом для своїх поколінь.
It is a permanent sign of my covenant with the people of Israel. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day he stopped working and was refreshed.’”
Це знак навіки поміж Мною та поміж Ізра́їлевими синами, бо шість день творив Господь небо та землю, а дня сьомого — перервав працю та спочив“.
І дав Він Мойсе́єві, коли закінчив говорити з ним на Сінайській горі, дві табли́ці свідо́цтва, табли́ці кам'яні́, писані Божим пальцем.
