The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts.

The fortress also will cease from Ephraim,
The kingdom from Damascus,
And the remnant of Syria;
They will be as the glory of the children of Israel,”

Не станет твердыни Ефремовой и царства Дамасского с остальною Сириею; с ними будет то же, что со славою сынов Израиля, говорит Господь Саваоф.

Зникнуть твердині Ефраїма й Царство Дамаску, а з рештками Араму станеться те саме, що зо славою синів Ізраїля, — слово Господа сил.

Заникне тверди́ня з Єфрема, і царство з Дамаску, і решта Ара́му — будуть, як слава синів Ізраїля, говорить Господь Савао́т!

Исчезнет в Ефреме укрепленный город,
и в Дамаске — царская власть;
с уцелевшими из Арама будет то же,
что и со славой израильтян, —
возвещает Господь Сил. — -
І більше не буде неприступним, щоб туди втік Єфрем, і більше не буде царства в Дамаску, і ті, хто залишився із сирійців, загинуть. Адже ти не кращий за синів Ізраїля і їхньої слави. Так говорить Господь Саваот:
