New Living Translation
So they went straight to the king and reminded him about his law. “Did you not sign a law that for the next thirty days any person who prays to anyone, divine or human — except to you, Your Majesty — will be thrown into the den of lions?”
“Yes,” the king replied, “that decision stands; it is an official law of the Medes and Persians that cannot be revoked.”

Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

And they went before the king, and spoke concerning the king’s decree: “Have you not signed a decree that every man who petitions any god or man within thirty days, except you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions?”
The king answered and said, “The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which [b]does not alter.” -

So they went to the king and spoke to him about his royal decree: “Did you not publish a decree that during the next thirty days anyone who prays to any god or human being except to you, Your Majesty, would be thrown into the lions’ den?”
The king answered, “The decree stands — in accordance with the law of the Medes and Persians, which cannot be repealed.” -

потом пришли и сказали царю о царском повелении: не ты ли подписал указ, чтобы всякого человека, который в течение тридцати дней будет просить какого-либо бога или человека, кроме тебя, царь, бросать в львиный ров? Царь отвечал и сказал: это слово твёрдо, как закон Мидян и Персов, не допускающий изменения.

Тоді ті люди прийшли поквапно й знайшли Даниїла, що молився й благав свого Бога.

І прийшли вони до царя та й почали говорити про царський приказ: Чи ж ти не підписав приказ, щоб кожну людину, котра в трийцятьох днях просити ме будь-якого бога або чоловіка, окрім тебе, царю, вкинути в яму між леви? Царь відповів і сказав: Се слово незмінне, як закон у Мидиї й Персиї, його не можна нарушувати. -
Тоді ці мужі поспішили до нього, і знайшли Даниїла, що він просив та благав свого Бога.

Тогда они пошли к царю и говорили с ним о его царском запрете:
— Разве не ты подписал запрет, по которому того, кто в течение следующих тридцати дней будет молиться иному богу или человеку, кроме тебя, о царь, бросили бы в яму со львами?
Царь ответил:
— Это воистину так, по законам мидян и персов, которые не подлежат отмене. -
Тоді ті мужі прослідкували і знайшли Даниїла, що він просив і благав свого Бога.

Они отправились к царю и стали говорить о законе, который тот издал. Они сказали: "Царь Дарий, не ты ли подписал закон, который говорит о том, что в последующие тридцать дней тот, кто станет молиться какому-либо богу, или человеку, кроме тебя, царь, будет брошен в львиный ров?" Царь ответил: "Да, я подписал этот закон. А законы мидян и персов не могут быть отменены или изменены".
