“Bring Aaron and his sons, along with their sacred garments, the anointing oil, the bull for the sin offering, the two rams, and the basket of bread made without yeast,
„Візьми Ааро́на та синів його з ним, і шати, і оливу пома́зання, і бичка жертви за гріх, і два барани́, і коша́ з опрісноками.
І збери всю громаду до входу скинії заповіту“.
So Moses followed the LORD’s instructions, and the whole community assembled at the Tabernacle entrance.
І зробив Мойсей, як Госпо́дь наказав був йому. І зібралась громада до входу скинії заповіту.
Moses announced to them, “This is what the LORD has commanded us to do!”
І промовив Мойсей до громади: „Оце та річ, що Господь наказав зробити“.
Then he presented Aaron and his sons and washed them with water.
І привів Мойсей Ааро́на й синів його, та й умив їх водою.
He put the official tunic on Aaron and tied the sash around his waist. He dressed him in the robe, placed the ephod on him, and attached the ephod securely with its decorative sash.
І дав він на нього хіто́на, й опереза́в його поясом, і зодягнув його ша́тою, і дав на нього ефо́да, і оперезав його поясом ефоду, і прикріпив ним ефода на ньо́му.
Then Moses placed the chestpiece on Aaron and put the Urim and the Thummim inside it.
І поклав на нього нагру́дника, і дав до нагрудника урі́м та туммі́м.
He placed the turban on Aaron’s head and attached the gold medallion — the badge of holiness — to the front of the turban, just as the LORD had commanded him.
І поклав заво́я на голову його, і поклав на завоя спереду його золоту квітку, вінця святости, як Господь наказав був Мойсе́єві.
Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the Tabernacle and everything in it, making them holy.
І взяв Мойсей оливу пома́зання, і намастив скинію, і все, що в ній, та й освятив їх.
He sprinkled the oil on the altar seven times, anointing it and all its utensils, as well as the washbasin and its stand, making them holy.
І покропи́в він із неї сім раз на же́ртівника, і намастив жертівника та ввесь по́суд його, і вмивальницю та підставу її, щоб їх освятити.
Then he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head, anointing him and making him holy for his work.
І вилив з оливи пома́зання на Ааро́нову голову, та й пома́зав його, щоб його посвятити.
Next Moses presented Aaron’s sons. He clothed them in their tunics, tied their sashes around them, and put their special head coverings on them, just as the LORD had commanded him.
І привів Мойсей Ааро́нових синів, і зодягнув їх у хітони, й оперезав їх поясом, і поклав на них накриття́ голови, як Господь наказав був Мойсеєві.
Then Moses presented the bull for the sin offering. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the bull’s head,
І підвів він бичка жертви за гріх, — і поклав Ааро́н та сини його свої ру́ки на голову того бичка жертви за гріх.
І зарізав, і взяв Мойсей кро́ви і дав своїм пальцем на ро́ги навколо же́ртівника, — і очистив жертівника. А кров вилив до підстави жертівника, і освятив його для очища́ння на ньому.
Then Moses took all the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat around them, and he burned it all on the altar.
І взяв він увесь лій, що на ну́трощах, і сальника́ на печінці, і оби́дві ни́рки та їхній лій, — і Мойсей спалив на жертівнику.
He took the rest of the bull, including its hide, meat, and dung, and burned it on a fire outside the camp, just as the LORD had commanded him.
А бичка́, і шкуру його, і м'ясо його, і нечистість його спалив в огні поза табо́ром, як Господь наказав був Мойсеєві.
Then Moses presented the ram for the burnt offering. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the ram’s head,
І привів він барана́ цілопа́лення, — і поклали Ааро́н та сини його руки свої на голову барана.
and Moses slaughtered it. Then Moses took the ram’s blood and splattered it against all sides of the altar.
І зарізав, і покропив Мойсей кров'ю навколо жертівника.
Then he cut the ram into pieces, and he burned the head, some of its pieces, and the fat on the altar.
А барана розсік на куски його, — і Мойсей спалив голову, і куски, і товщ.
After washing the internal organs and the legs with water, Moses burned the entire ram on the altar as a burnt offering. It was a pleasing aroma, a special gift presented to the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.
А ну́трощі та голі́нки пообмивав водою. І Мойсей спалив ці́лого барана на жертівнику, — це цілопа́лення на па́хощі любі, це огняна́ жертва для Господа, як Господь наказав був Мойсеєві.
Then Moses presented the other ram, which was the ram of ordination. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the ram’s head,
І привів барана другого, барана посвя́чення. І поклали Аарон та сини його руки свої на голову того барана.
and Moses slaughtered it. Then Moses took some of its blood and applied it to the lobe of Aaron’s right ear, the thumb of his right hand, and the big toe of his right foot.
І зарізав, і взяв Мойсей із кро́ви його та й дав на пи́пку правого вуха Ааро́нового й на великого пальця правої руки його, і на великого пальця правої ноги його.
Next Moses presented Aaron’s sons and applied some of the blood to the lobes of their right ears, the thumbs of their right hands, and the big toes of their right feet. He then splattered the rest of the blood against all sides of the altar.
І привів Ааро́нових синів, і дав Мойсей із кро́ви тієї на пи́пку правого їхнього вуха, і на великого пальця правої руки їх, і на великого пальця правої ноги їх. І покропив Мойсей тією кров'ю жертівника навко́ло.
Next Moses took the fat, including the fat of the broad tail, the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat around them, along with the right thigh.
І взяв він лій, і курдюка́, і ввесь лій, що на ну́трощах, і сальника на печінці, і оби́дві ни́рки й їх лій, і стегно́ правиці.
On top of these he placed a thin cake of bread made without yeast, a cake of bread mixed with olive oil, and a wafer spread with olive oil. All these were taken from the basket of bread made without yeast that was placed in the LORD’s presence.
А з коша́ з опрісноками, що перед лицем Господнім, узяв одного прі́сного калача та калача хлі́бного, одну оливу та одного коржика, і поклав на лої й на правім стегні́.
He put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons, and he lifted these gifts as a special offering to the LORD.
І дав він усе на руки Ааро́на, і на руки синів його, і заколиха́в це, як колиха́ння перед Господнім лицем.
Moses then took all the offerings back from them and burned them on the altar on top of the burnt offering. This was the ordination offering. It was a pleasing aroma, a special gift presented to the LORD.
І взяв це Мойсей із їхніх рук, та й спалив на жертівнику на цілопалення, — воно жертва посвячення, на пахощі любі, воно огняна жертва для Господа.
Then Moses took the breast and lifted it up as a special offering to the LORD. This was Moses’ portion of the ram of ordination, just as the LORD had commanded him.
І взяв Мойсей груди́ну та й заколиха́в її, як колиха́ння перед Господнім лицем, із барана́ посвяче́ння. Вона була́ для Мойсея на па́йку, як Господь наказав був Мойсеєві.
Next Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar, and he sprinkled them on Aaron and his garments and on his sons and their garments. In this way, he made Aaron and his sons and their garments holy.
І взяв Мойсей оливи пома́зання та кро́ви, що на жертівнику, і покропи́в на Ааро́на, на ша́ти його, і на синів його, і на ша́ти синів його з ним. І посвятив Аарона, ша́ти його, і синів його, і ша́ти синів його з ним.
Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “Boil the remaining meat of the offerings at the Tabernacle entrance, and eat it there, along with the bread that is in the basket of offerings for the ordination, just as I commanded when I said, ‘Aaron and his sons will eat it.’
І сказав Мойсей до Ааро́на й до синів його: „Варіть м'ясо при вході скинії заповіту, і там бу́дете їсти його, і хліб, що в коші посвя́чення, як я наказав був, говорячи: Аарон та сини його будуть їсти його.
Any meat or bread that is left over must then be burned up.
А позостале з м'яса та з хліба спалите в огні.
You must not leave the Tabernacle entrance for seven days, for that is when the ordination ceremony will be completed.
А із входу скинії заповіту не вийдете сім день, аж до дня ви́повнення днів вашого посвя́чення, бо Він буде сім день посвя́чувати вас.
Як учинив я сьогодні, так наказав Госпо́дь робити, щоб очистити вас.
Now stay at the entrance of the Tabernacle day and night for seven days, and do everything the LORD requires. If you fail to do this, you will die, for this is what the LORD has commanded.”
А при вході скинії заповіту бу́дете сидіти день і ніч сім день, і будете вико́нувати варту Господню, — щоб вам не померти, бо так мені наказано“.
