Upon hearing this, the angel of the LORD prayed this prayer: “O LORD of Heaven’s Armies, for seventy years now you have been angry with Jerusalem and the towns of Judah. How long until you again show mercy to them?”

Mercy Promised to Jerusalem
Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years? -
The Lord Will Comfort Zion
Then the Angel of the Lord answered and said, “O Lord of hosts, how long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which You were angry these seventy years?” -

И отвечал Ангел Господень и сказал: Господи Вседержителю! Доколе Ты не умилосердишься над Иерусалимом и над городами Иуды, на которые Ты гневаешься вот уже семьдесят лет?

Тоді ангел Господній озвався й мовив: «Господи сил, докіль не матимеш жалю над Єрусалимом і над містами Юди, на яких гніваєшся повних сімдесят років?»

І відповів ангол Господній та й сказав: „Го́споди Савао́те, аж до́ки Ти не змилосе́рдишся над Єрусалимом та над Юдиними міста́ми, на які Ти гніваєшся оце сімдеся́т літ?“

Тогда Ангел Господень сказал:
— Господи Сил, до каких пор Ты будешь отказывать в милости Иерусалиму и городам Иуды, на которые Ты гневаешься вот уже семьдесят лет? -
І відповів Господній ангел, і сказав: Господи Вседержителю, аж доки не змилосердишся над Єрусалимом і містами Юди, на які Ти не зглядався цей сімдесятий рік?
