Zechariah 1:6

New Living Translation
But everything I said through my servants the prophets happened to your ancestors, just as I said. As a result, they repented and said, ‘We have received what we deserved from the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. He has done what he said he would do.’”

But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.

Yet surely My words and My statutes,
Which I commanded My servants the prophets,
Did they not overtake your fathers?
“So they returned and said:
‘Just as the Lord of hosts determined to do to us,
According to our ways and according to our deeds,
So He has dealt with us.’ ” ’ ” -

“Then they repented and said, ‘The Lord Almighty has done to us what our ways and practices deserve, just as he determined to do.’ ” -

Но слова Мои и определения Мои, которые заповедал Я рабам Моим, пророкам, разве не постигли отцов ваших? и они обращались и говорили: «как определил Господь Саваоф поступить с нами по нашим путям и по нашим делам, так и поступил с нами».

Слова ж мої й постанови, що я заповідав слугам моїм, пророкам, чи не дійшли до батьків ваших? Вони повернулись і сказали: Як призначив Господь сил зробити нам, згідно з нашими путями й нашими вчинками, так і зробив з нами.»

Слова ж мої й присуди мої, що я заповідав через слуг моїх пророків, чи ж не справджались на отцях ваших? і вони навертались та й говорили : Як призначив Господь Саваот учинити нам після стежок наших і по вчинках наших, так і зробив. -
Та слова́ Мої й постано́ви Мої, що Я наказа́в рабам Моїм пророкам, чи ж не досягли́ вони до ваших батькі́в? І вернулись вони та й сказали: Як заду́мав Господь Саваот зробити нам за нашими дорогами й за нашими чинами, так зробив Він із нами“.

Но Мои слова и установления, которые Я вручил Моим слугам, пророкам, разве не исполнились над вашими предками? Они тогда покаялись и сказали: „Господь Сил поступил с нами так, как мы заслужили своими путями и делами, — как Он определил, так и поступил“».

Лише прийміть Мої слова і Мої закони, які Я заповідаю Моїм духом Моїм слугам-пророкам, — ваші батьки не зрозуміли! І вони відповіли, і сказали: Так, як поставився Господь Вседержитель, щоби чинити за нашими дорогами і за нашими задумами, так Він нам і зробив.
