Four Chariots

Then I looked up again and saw four chariots coming from between two bronze mountains.

И опять поднял я глаза мои и вижу: вот, четыре колесницы выходят из ущелья между двумя горами; и горы те были горы медные.

The first chariot was pulled by red horses, the second by black horses,

В первой колеснице кони рыжие, а во второй колеснице кони вороные;

the third by white horses, and the fourth by powerful dappled-gray horses.

в третьей колеснице кони белые, а в четвёртой колеснице кони пегие, сильные.

“And what are these, my lord?” I asked the angel who was talking with me.

И, начав речь, я сказал Ангелу, говорившему со мною: что это, господин мой?

The angel replied, “These are the four spiritsa of heaven who stand before the Lord of all the earth. They are going out to do his work.

И отвечал Ангел и сказал мне: это выходят четыре духа небесных, которые предстоят пред Господом всей земли.

6

The chariot with black horses is going north, the chariot with white horses is going west,b and the chariot with dappled-gray horses is going south.”

Вороные кони там выходят к стране северной и белые идут за ними, а пегие идут к стране полуденной.

The powerful horses were eager to set out to patrol the earth. And the LORD said, “Go and patrol the earth!” So they left at once on their patrol.

И сильные вышли и стремились идти, чтобы пройти землю; и он сказал: идите, пройдите землю, — и они прошли землю.

8

Then the LORD summoned me and said, “Look, those who went north have vented the anger of my Spiritc there in the land of the north.”

Тогда позвал он меня и сказал мне так: смотри, вышедшие в землю северную успокоили дух Мой на земле северной.

The Crowning of Jeshua

Then I received another message from the LORD:

И было слово Господне ко мне:

“Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah will bring gifts of silver and gold from the Jews exiled in Babylon. As soon as they arrive, meet them at the home of Josiah son of Zephaniah.

возьми у пришедших из плена, у Хелдая, у Товии и у Иедая, и пойди в тот самый день, пойди в дом Иосии, сына Софониева, куда они пришли из Вавилона,

11

Accept their gifts, and make a crown from the silver and gold. Then put the crown on the head of Jeshuad son of Jehozadak, the high priest.

возьми у них серебро и золото и сделай венцы, и возложи на голову Иисуса, сына Иоседекова, иерея великого,

12

Tell him, ‘This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says: Here is the man called the Branch. He will branch out from where he is and build the Temple of the LORD.

и скажи ему: так говорит Господь Саваоф: вот Муж, — имя Ему ОТРАСЛЬ, Он произрастёт из Своего корня и создаст храм Господень.

13

Yes, he will build the Temple of the LORD. Then he will receive royal honor and will rule as king from his throne. He will also serve as priest from his throne,e and there will be perfect harmony between his two roles.’

Он создаст храм Господень и примет славу, и воссядет, и будет владычествовать на престоле Своём; будет и священником на престоле Своём, и совет мира будет между тем и другим.

14

“The crown will be a memorial in the Temple of the LORD to honor those who gave it — Heldai,f Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Josiahg son of Zephaniah.”

А венцы те будут Хелему и Товии, Иедаю и Хену, сыну Софониеву, на память в храме Господнем.

15

People will come from distant lands to rebuild the Temple of the LORD. And when this happens, you will know that my messages have been from the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. All this will happen if you carefully obey what the LORD your God says.

И издали придут, и примут участие в построении храма Господня, и вы узнаете, что Господь Саваоф послал меня к вам, и это будет, если вы усердно будете слушаться гласа Господа Бога вашего.
