  • Offerings for the Festival of Trumpets

    “Celebrate the Festival of Trumpets each year on the first day of the appointed month in early autumn.a You must call an official day for holy assembly, and you may do no ordinary work.
  • Offerings of the Seventh Month

    ‘Now in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall also have a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work. It will be to you a day for blowing trumpets.
  • On that day you must present a burnt offering as a pleasing aroma to the LORD. It will consist of one young bull, one ram, and seven one-year-old male lambs, all with no defects.
  • ‘You shall offer a burnt offering as a soothing aroma to the LORD: one bull, one ram, and seven male lambs one year old without defect;
  • These must be accompanied by grain offerings of choice flour moistened with olive oil — six quartsb with the bull, four quartsc with the ram,
  • also their grain offering, fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for the bull, two-tenths for the ram,
  • and two quartsd with each of the seven lambs.
  • and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs.
  • In addition, you must sacrifice a male goat as a sin offering to purify yourselves and make yourselves right with the LORD.e

  • Offerings for the Day of Atonement

    “Ten days later, on the tenth day of the same month,f you must call another holy assembly. On that day, the Day of Atonement, the people must go without food and must do no ordinary work.
  • ‘Then on the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall humble yourselves; you shall not do any work.
  • You must present a burnt offering as a pleasing aroma to the LORD. It will consist of one young bull, one ram, and seven one-year-old male lambs, all with no defects.

  • Offerings for the Festival of Shelters

    “Five days later, on the fifteenth day of the same month,g you must call another holy assembly of all the people, and you may do no ordinary work on that day. It is the beginning of the Festival of Shelters,h a seven-day festival to the LORD.
  • ‘Then on the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work, and you shall observe a feast to the LORD for seven days.
  • On the first day of the festival, you must present a burnt offering as a special gift, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. It will consist of thirteen young bulls, two rams, and fourteen one-year-old male lambs, all with no defects.
  • ‘You shall present a burnt offering, an offering by fire as a soothing aroma to the LORD: thirteen bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs one year old, which are without defect;
  • Each of these offerings must be accompanied by a grain offering of choice flour moistened with olive oil — six quarts for each of the thirteen bulls, four quarts for each of the two rams,

  • ‘You shall present these to the LORD at your appointed times, besides your votive offerings and your freewill offerings, for your burnt offerings and for your grain offerings and for your drink offerings and for your peace offerings.’”
  • iSo Moses gave all of these instructions to the people of Israel as the LORD had commanded him.
