Anyone who claims to know all the answers doesn’t really know very much.
Коли хто ду́має, ніби щось знає, той нічого не знає ще так, як знати повинно.
Коли ж любить хто Бога, той пі́знаний Ним.

Їжа ж нас до Бога не збли́жує: бо коли не їмо, то нічого не тратимо, а коли ми їмо, то не набуваєм нічо́го.
But you must be careful so that your freedom does not cause others with a weaker conscience to stumble.

For if others see you — with your “superior knowledge” — eating in the temple of an idol, won’t they be encouraged to violate their conscience by eating food that has been offered to an idol?
Коли бо хто бачить тебе, маю́чого знання́, як ти в і́дольській божни́ці сидиш за столом, чи ж сумління його, бувши слабе́, не буде спону́кане їсти ідольські жертви?
І через знання́ твоє згине недужий твій брат, що за нього Христос був умер!
Грі́шачи так проти братів та вражаючи їхнє слабе сумління, ви проти Христа грішите́.
