As the men started on their way to map out the land, Joshua commanded them, “Go and explore the land and write a description of it. Then return to me, and I will assign the land to the tribes by casting sacred lots here in the presence of the LORD at Shiloh.”

And the men arose, and went away: and Joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you before the LORD in Shiloh.

Устали мужі ті й рушили в дорогу. Ісус повелів тим, що йшли, списувати землю, мовивши: “Ідіть, пройдіть через край, спишіть його та й повертайтесь до мене, і я кину перед Господом за вас у Шіло жереб.”

І встали ті му́жі й пішли. А Ісус наказав тим, що пішли опи́сувати край, говорячи: „Ідіть і походіть по кра́ю, і опишіть його, та й вертайтеся до ме́не. А я кину вам жеребка́ тут перед Господнім лицем у Шіло́“.

Когда те люди тронулись в путь, чтобы описать землю, Иисус велел им:
— Ступайте, пройдите по земле и опишите ее. Потом возвращайтесь ко мне, и я брошу о вас жребий здесь, в Шило, перед Господом. -
Піднявшись, мужі пішли. А Ісус дав наказ мужам, які йшли обмірювати землю, кажучи: Підіть, поміряйте землю і прийдіть до мене, і тут, у Силомі, я винесу вам жереб перед Господом!
