Jesus Christ Is God’s Son

Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets.

В прошлом Бог многократно и по-разному говорил с нашими предками через пророков.

And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.

В эти же последние дни Он говорил с нами через Своего Сына, Которого Он назначил наследником всего и вся и через Которого сотворил мир.

The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.

Сын- сияние славы Божьей и точное подобие Божье. Он поддерживает всё и вся Своим могущественным Словом. Сделав так, что люди очистились от своих грехов, Он воссел по правую руку Всевышнего на небесах.

This shows that the Son is far greater than the angels, just as the name God gave him is greater than their names.

Он превзошёл ангелов, и имя Его выше, чем их имена.

The Son Is Greater Than the Angels

For God never said to any angel what he said to Jesus:
“You are my Son.
Today I have become your Father.a”
God also said,
“I will be his Father,
and he will be my Son.”b

Ибо кому из ангелов было когда-либо сказано: "Ты — Сын мой, сегодня Я стал Отцом твоим." И никому из ангелов не сказал Бог: "Стану Я Отцом Его, и станет Он Сыном Моим."

And when he brought his supremec Son into the world, God said,d
“Let all of God’s angels worship him.”e

И ещё сказал Бог, приведя Первенца Своего в мир: "Пусть все ангелы Божьи поклоняются Ему."

Regarding the angels, he says,
“He sends his angels like the winds,
his servants like flames of fire.”f

Вот что говорит Бог об ангелах: "Бог сделал ангелов Своих ветрами, и сделал Он слуг Своих языками пламени."

But to the Son he says,
“Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever.
You rule with a scepter of justice.

О Сыне же говорит Он: "Престол Твой, о Боже, да пребудет во веки веков, и скипетр праведности да будет скипетром царства Твоего.

9

You love justice and hate evil.
Therefore, O God, your God has anointed you,
pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else.”g

Ты всегда любил праведность и ненавидел неправедность. Вот почему Бог, Твой Бог, даровал Тебе радость большую, чем товарищам Твоим."

He also says to the Son,
“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundation of the earth
and made the heavens with your hands.

И ещё сказал Бог: "Вначале, Господи, заложил Ты основание земли и сотворил небеса Своими руками.

11

They will perish, but you remain forever.
They will wear out like old clothing.

Всё это преходяще, Ты же извечен. Всё это обветшает подобно одежде,

12

You will fold them up like a cloak
and discard them like old clothing.
But you are always the same;
you will live forever.”h

12

И Ты свернёшь её как плащ, и будет всё сменяться подобно одежде, Ты же никогда не изменишься, и жизни Твоей не будет конца."

13

And God never said to any of the angels,
“Sit in the place of honor at my right hand
until I humble your enemies,
making them a footstool under your feet.”i

Каким ангелам сказал Он подобное: "Воссядь по правую руку от Меня, и Я повергну врагов к Твоим ногам".

Therefore, angels are only servants — spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.

Разве ангелы не духи на службе Божьей, и разве они не посланы служить тем, кто унаследует спасение?
