Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone.

І бачив я небо нове́ й нову́ землю, перше бо небо та перша земля проминули, і моря вже не було́.
And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
І я, Іван, бачив місто святе, Нови́й Єрусали́м, що схо́див із неба від Бога, що був пригото́ваний, як неві́ста, прикра́шена для чоловіка свого.
I почув я гучний голос із престолу, який кли́кав: „Оце́ оселя Бога з людьми́, і Він житиме з ними! Вони бу́дуть наро́дом Його, і Сам Бог буде з ними“,
He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”
„і Бог кожну сльозу з очей їхніх зітре́“, і не буде вже смерти. Ані смутку, ані крику, ані болю вже не бу́де, бо перше минулося!“
And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.”
І сказав Той, Хто сидить на престолі: „Ось нове́ все творю́!“ І говорить: „Напиши, що слова́ ці правдиві та вірні!“
And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega — the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life.
І сказав Він мені: „Сталося! Я Альфа й Оме́га, Поча́ток і Кінець. Хто прагне, тому дармо Я дам від джере́ла живої води.
All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.
Переможець наслідить усе, і Я бу́ду Богом для нього, а він Мені буде за сина!
“But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars — their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
А лякливим, і невірним, і мерзки́м, і душогубам, і розпусникам, і чарівника́м, і ідоля́нам, і всім неправдомовцям, — їхня частина в озері, що горить огнем та сіркою“, а це — друга смерть!
Then one of the seven angels who held the seven bowls containing the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come with me! I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
І прийшов до мене один із семи анголі́в, що мають сім чаш, напо́внених сімома́ останніми карами, та й промовив до мене, говорячи: „Ходи, покажу́ я тобі невісту, жону Агнця“.
І заніс мене духом на го́ру велику й високу, і місто велике мені показав, — святий Єрусали́м, що сходив із неба від Бога.
It shone with the glory of God and sparkled like a precious stone — like jasper as clear as crystal.
Славу Божу він має. А світлість його подібна до каменя дорогоцінного, як каменя я́списа, що блищить, як кришта́ль.
The city wall was broad and high, with twelve gates guarded by twelve angels. And the names of the twelve tribes of Israel were written on the gates.
Мур воно мало великий і високий, мало дванадцять брам, а на брамах дванадцять анголів та ймення написані, а вони — імення дванадцятьо́х племе́н синів Ізраїля.
There were three gates on each side — east, north, south, and west.

The wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were written the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
І міськи́й мур мав дванадцять підвалин, а на них дванадцять імен дванадцяти апо́столів Агнця.
The angel who talked to me held in his hand a gold measuring stick to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.
А той, хто зо мною говорив, мав міру, — золоту трости́ну, щоб змі́ряти місто, і брами його і його мур.
А місто чотирикутнє, а довжина́ його така, як і ширина́. І він зміряв місто трости́ною на дванадцять тисяч стадій; довжина́, і ширина́, і вишина́ його рівні.
І зміряв він мура його на сто сорок чотири лі́кті міри лю́дської, яка й міра ангола.
The wall was made of jasper, and the city was pure gold, as clear as glass.
Його мур був збудо́ваний з я́спису, а місто було — щире золото, подібне до чистого скла.
Підвалини муру місько́го прикра́шені були всяким дорогоцінним камі́нням. Перша підва́лина — я́спис, друга — сапфі́р, третя — халкидо́н, четверта — смара́гд,
the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.
п'ята — сардо́нікс, шоста — са́рдій, сьома — хризолі́т, восьма — бери́л, дев'ята — топа́з, десята — хрисопра́с, одинадцята — яки́нт, дванадцята — амети́ст.
The twelve gates were made of pearls — each gate from a single pearl! And the main street was pure gold, as clear as glass.
А дванадцять брам — то дванадцять перли́н, і кожна брама зокре́ма була́ з однієї перли́ни. А вулиці міста — щире золото, прозо́рі, як скло.
I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
А храму не бачив я в ньому, бо Госпо́дь, Бог Вседержи́тель — то йому храм і Агнець.
And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light.
І місто не має потреби ні в сонці, ні в місяці, щоб у ньому світили, — слава бо Божа його освітила, а світильник для нього — А́гнець.
The nations will walk in its light, and the kings of the world will enter the city in all their glory.
І наро́ди ходитимуть у світлі його, а зе́мні царі принесу́ть свою славу до нього.
Its gates will never be closed at the end of day because there is no night there.
А брами його зачиня́тись не бу́дуть удень, бо там но́чі не бу́де.
And all the nations will bring their glory and honor into the city.
І принесу́ть до нього славу й честь наро́дів.
