The Lamb Opens the Scroll

Then I saw a scrolla in the right hand of the one who was sitting on the throne. There was writing on the inside and the outside of the scroll, and it was sealed with seven seals.

И видел я в деснице у Сидящего на престоле книгу, написанную внутри и отвне, запечатанную семью печатями.

And I saw a strong angel, who shouted with a loud voice: “Who is worthy to break the seals on this scroll and open it?”

И видел я Ангела сильного, провозглашающего громким голосом: кто достоин раскрыть сию книгу и снять печати её?

But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll and read it.

И никто не мог, ни на небе, ни на земле, ни под землёю, раскрыть сию книгу, ни посмотреть в неё.

Then I began to weep bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll and read it.

И я много плакал о том, что никого не нашлось достойного раскрыть и читать сию книгу, и даже посмотреть в неё.

But one of the twenty-four elders said to me, “Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir to David’s throne,b has won the victory. He is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

И один из старцев сказал мне: не плачь; вот, лев от колена Иудина, корень Давидов, победил, и может раскрыть сию книгу и снять семь печатей её.

Then I saw a Lamb that looked as if it had been slaughtered, but it was now standing between the throne and the four living beings and among the twenty-four elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which represent the sevenfold Spiritc of God that is sent out into every part of the earth.

И я взглянул, и вот, посреди престола и четырёх животных и посреди старцев стоял Агнец как бы закланный, имеющий семь рогов и семь очей, которые суть семь духов Божиих, посланных во всю землю.

He stepped forward and took the scroll from the right hand of the one sitting on the throne.

И Он пришёл и взял книгу из десницы Сидящего на престоле.

And when he took the scroll, the four living beings and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they held gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.

И когда Он взял книгу, тогда четыре животных и двадцать четыре старца пали пред Агнцем, имея каждый гусли и золотые чаши, полные фимиама, которые суть молитвы святых.

And they sang a new song with these words:
“You are worthy to take the scroll
and break its seals and open it.
For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God
from every tribe and language and people and nation.

И поют новую песнь, говоря: достоин Ты взять книгу и снять с неё печати, ибо Ты был заклан, и Кровию Своею искупил нас Богу из всякого колена и языка, и народа, и племени,

And you have caused them to become
a Kingdom of priests for our God.
And they will reignd on the earth.”

и соделал нас царями и священниками Богу нашему; и мы будем царствовать на земле.

11

Then I looked again, and I heard the voices of thousands and millions of angels around the throne and of the living beings and the elders.

И я видел, и слышал голос многих Ангелов вокруг престола и животных и старцев, и число их было тьмы тем и тысячи тысяч,

12

And they sang in a mighty chorus:
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered —
to receive power and riches
and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and blessing.”

которые говорили громким голосом: достоин Агнец закланный принять силу и богатство, и премудрость и крепость, и честь и славу и благословение.

And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang:
“Blessing and honor and glory and power
belong to the one sitting on the throne
and to the Lamb forever and ever.”

И всякое создание, находящееся на небе и на земле, и под землёю, и на море, и всё, что в них, слышал я, говорило: Сидящему на престоле и Агнцу — благословение и честь, и слава и держава во веки веков.

14

And the four living beings said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped the Lamb.

И четыре животных говорили: аминь. И двадцать четыре старца пали и поклонились Живущему во веки веков.
