Then Zebah and Zalmunna said to Gideon, “Be a man! Kill us yourself!” So Gideon killed them both and took the royal ornaments from the necks of their camels.

Then Zebah and Zalmunna said, Rise thou, and fall upon us: for as the man is, so is his strength. And Gideon arose, and slew Zebah and Zalmunna, and took away the ornaments that were on their camels' necks.

So Zebah and Zalmunna said, “Rise yourself, and kill us; for as a man is, so is his strength.” So Gideon arose and killed Zebah and Zalmunna, and took the crescent ornaments that were on their camels’ necks.

І сказав Зевах та Цалмунна: „Устань ти, і кинься на нас, бо по чоловікові сила його“. І встав Гедеон, і вбив Зеваха та Цалмунну, і забрав оздо́бні мі́сяці, що були на шиях їхніх верблю́дів.

Зевах и Салман сказали:
— Подойди и убей нас сам. Каков человек, такова и его сила.
Гедеон подошел и убил Зеваха и Салмана, и забрал украшения,42 которые были на шеях их верблюдов. -
А Зевей і Салмана сказали: Підіймися ти, і протистій нам, бо який чоловік, така і його сила! Тож Ґедеон піднявся і вбив Зевея та Салману, і забрав прикраси, які були на шиях їхніх верблюдів.
