But the servant said, “I’ve just thought of something! There is a man of God who lives here in this town. He is held in high honor by all the people because everything he says comes true. Let’s go find him. Perhaps he can tell us which way to go.”

And he said unto him, Behold now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is an honourable man; all that he saith cometh surely to pass: now let us go thither; peradventure he can shew us our way that we should go.

And he said to him, “Look now, there is in this city a man of God, and he is an honorable man; all that he says surely comes to pass. So let us go there; perhaps he can show us the way that we should go.”

Но слуга сказал ему: вот в этом городе есть человек Божий, человек уважаемый; всё, что он ни скажет, сбывается; сходим теперь туда; может быть, он укажет нам путь наш, по которому нам идти.

Той каже йому: «Дивись, е отут Божий чоловік у цьому місті, чоловік поважаний: усе, що скаже він, так і справдиться. Ходім лишень туди! Хто зна, чи нам чого не вкаже про дорогу, в яку ми пустились?»

А той каже йому: Оттут у сьому городї живе Божий чоловік, чоловік славетний; все, що він скаже, так і сповнюєсь. Ходїм туди; може він справить нас на дорогу, якою б нам ійти. -
А той відказав йому: „Ось у цьому місті є чоловік Божий, а той чоловік шанований. Усе, що він говорить, конче спра́вджується. Тепер сході́мо туди, — може він покаже нам нашу дорогу, що нею ми пішли б“.

Но слуга сказал:
— Послушай, в этом городе есть Божий человек. Он пользуется большим уважением, и все, что он говорит, сбывается. Давай сходим туда. Может быть, он укажет нам путь. -
А слуга йому відповів: Ось Божий чоловік у цьому місті, славний чоловік, усе, що тільки скаже, неодмінно справджується [1]. Тепер же підемо, щоби сповістив нам нашу дорогу, якою підемо.
