The Divisions of the Gatekeepers

The divisions of the doorkeepers. Of the Korahites: Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.

У Мешелемии были сыновья:
первенец Захария,
второй сын — Иедиаил,
третий — Зевадия,
четвертый — Иафниил,

And Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

пятый — Елам,
шестой — Иоханан
и седьмой — Элиегоэнай.

Elam the fifth, Johanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.

У Овид-Эдома тоже были сыновья:
первенец Шемая,
второй сын — Иегозавад,
третий — Иоах,
четвертый — Сахар,
пятый — Нафанаил,

-- And the sons of Obed-Edom: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth,

шестой — Аммиил,
седьмой — Иссахар
и восьмой — Пеульфай.
(Ведь Бог благословил Овид-Эдома ).

Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth: for God had blessed him.

У его сына Шемаи тоже родились сыновья, которые были вождями своего клана, потому что были очень способными людьми.

And to Shemaiah his son were sons born, who were rulers in their father's house; for they were mighty men of valour.

7

Сыновья Шемаи: Офни, Рефаил, Овид и Элзавад; его родственники Элигу и Семахия тоже были очень способными людьми.

The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, [and] Elzabad, whose brethren were valiant men, Elihu and Semachiah.

Все они были потомками Овид-Эдома. Они сами, их сыновья и родственники были очень способными людьми, прилежными в работе. — Всего их было у Овид-Эдома шестьдесят два человека.

All these were of the sons of Obed-Edom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men in strength for the service, were sixty-two of Obed-Edom.

У Мешелемии было восемнадцать сыновей и родственников, которые также были способными людьми.

And Meshelemiah had sons And brethren, men of valour, eighteen.

10

У мераритянина Хосы были сыновья: первый Шимрий (хотя он и не был первенцем, его отец сделал его главным),

-- And Hosah, of the sons of Merari, had sons: Shimri the head, for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the head;

второй Хелкия, третий Тевалия и четвертый Захария. Сыновей и родственников Хосы было тринадцать человек.

Hilkijah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.

Эти отделения привратников — согласно тому, кто был их начальником, — имели обязанности в служении в доме Господа, как и их родственники.

Among these were the divisions of the doorkeepers, among the head-men, as to the charges together with their brethren, for performing the service in the house of Jehovah.

13

Они бросали жребии по своим кланам на каждые ворота — молодой наравне со старым.

And they cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to their fathers' houses, for every gate.

14

Восточные ворота выпали по жребию Шелемии.121 Затем был брошен жребий для его сына Захарии, мудрого советчика, и ему выпали Северные ворота.

And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah; and they cast lots for Zechariah his son, a wise counsellor, and his lot came out northward;

15

Южные ворота выпали по жребию Овид-Эдому, а кладовые — его сыновьям.

to Obed-Edom southward; and to his sons the storehouse.

16

Западные ворота и ворота Шаллехет на верхней дороге выпали по жребию Шупиму и Хосе.
Одна стража стояла напротив другой:

To Shuppim and Hosah westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the ascent, watch against watch.

17

шестеро левитов каждый день стояли на восточной стороне, четверо на северной, четверо на южной и по двое у кладовых.

Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and in the storehouse two [and] two.

18

Что же до западной колоннады, то четверо стояли там у дороги и двое — внутри самой колоннады.

18

At the portico westward, four at the causeway, two at the portico.

19

Так были распределены привратники, потомки Кораха и Мерари.

19

These are the divisions of the doorkeepers among the sons of the Korahites and among the sons of Merari.

20

Их собратьям-левитам были вверены сокровищницы Божьего дома и сокровищницы для посвященных вещей.

The Treasurers

And the Levites: Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.

21

Потомки Лаедана, которые были гершонитами по линии Лаедана и главами семейств, происходивших от гершонита Лаедана: Иехиил.

The sons of Laadan, the sons of the Gershonites of Laadan, chief fathers of Laadan the Gershonite: Jehieli;

22

Сыновья Иехиила: Зетам и его брат Иоиль. Им были вверены сокровищницы Господнего дома.

the sons of Jehieli: Zetham, and Joel his brother, over the treasures of the house of Jehovah.

Из амрамитов, ицгаритов, хевронитов и узиилитов:

As to the Amramites, the Jizharites, the Hebronites, the Uzzielites....

24

Шевуил, потомок сына Моисея Гершома, был главным смотрителем за сокровищницами.

24

And Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was overseer of the treasures.

25

Его родственники через Элиезера: сын Элиезера Рехавия, отец Иешаии, отца Иорама, отца Зихрия, отца Шеломита.

25

And his brethren, of Eliezer: Rehabiah his son, and Isaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.

Шеломиту и его родственникам были вверены все сокровищницы для вещей, посвященных царем Давидом, главами семейств, которые были тысячниками, сотниками и военачальниками.

This Shelomith and his brethren were over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which king David, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated

27

Часть добычи, взятой в сражении, они посвящали на поддержание Господнего дома.

27

(from the wars and out of the spoils had they dedicated [them], to maintain the house of Jehovah),

28

Все, что было посвящено провидцем Самуилом, Саулом, сыном Киша, Авнером, сыном Нира, и Иоавом, сыном Саруи, и все прочие посвященные вещи были доверены Шеломиту и его родственникам.

and all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah had dedicated: all that was dedicated was under the hand of Shelomith and of his brethren.

Из ицгаритов: Хенании и его сыновьям были определены обязанности за пределами дома — они были сановниками и судьями над Израилем.

Officers and Judges

Of the Jizharites, Chenaniah and his sons were over Israel, for the outward business for officers and judges.

30

Из хевронитов: Хашавия и его родственники — тысяча семьсот способных людей — отвечали в Израиле к западу от Иордана за всю работу в служении Господу и на царской службе.

30

Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, for the administration of Israel on this side Jordan westward, for all the business of Jehovah, and for the service of the king.

31

Вождем у хевронитов был Иерия. (В сороковой год правления Давида родословные записи хевронитян были исследованы и в Иазере Галаадском нашлись очень способные люди из хевронитов.)

Of the Hebronites was Jerijah the head; (as to the Hebronites, according to their families according to the fathers: in the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jaazer in Gilead;)

У Иерии было две тысячи семьсот родственников, очень способных людей, глав семейств, и царь Давид поставил их над родами Рувима, Гада и половиной рода Манассии во всяком Божьем деле и во всех делах царя.

and his brethren, men of valour, two thousand seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half tribe of the Manassites, for every matter pertaining to God, and the affairs of the king.
