Когда Иисус выходил из храма, к Нему подошли ученики, которые хотели показать Ему здания храма.

Temple Destruction Foretold

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

— Видите все это? — спросил их Иисус. — Говорю вам истину: здесь не останется и камня на камне, все будет разрушено.

And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Когда Иисус сидел на Оливковой горе, ученики подошли к Нему и спросили Его наедине:
— Скажи нам, когда это произойдет, и какое знамение укажет на Твое возвращение и на конец нынешнего мира?

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Иисус ответил им:
— Смотрите, чтобы никто не обманул вас,

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

потому что многие будут приходить под Моим именем, говоря: «Я Христос», и многих обманут.

False Christs

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6

Вы услышите о войнах, настоящих и грядущих, но пусть вас это не пугает. Все это должно произойти, но это еще не конец.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7

Потому что народ поднимется на народ и царство на царство, в разных местах будет голод и землетрясения.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8

Но все это лишь начало родовых схваток.133

8

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9

Тогда вас будут выдавать, мучить и убивать, и все народы будут ненавидеть вас из-за Меня.

Witnessing to All Nations

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10

Многие тогда отвернутся от веры, будут предавать и ненавидеть друг друга.

10

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11

Появится много лжепророков, которые многих обманут.

11

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12

И от умножения зла во многих охладеет любовь,

12

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13

но тот, кто выстоит до конца, будет спасен.

13

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14

Радостная Весть о Царстве будет возвещена по всему миру как свидетельство для всех народов, и только тогда наступит конец.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

15

Итак, когда вы увидите на святом месте «опустошающую мерзость», о которой говорил пророк Даниил,134 — пусть читающий поймет, —

The Abomination of Desolation

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16

тогда те, кто находится в Иудее, пусть бегут в горы.

16

Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17

Кто окажется на крыше, пусть не спускается в дом за вещами,

17

Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18

и кто окажется в поле, пусть не возвращается за своим плащом.

18

Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19

Горе же беременным и кормящим грудью в те дни.

19

And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20

Молитесь, чтобы ваше бегство не случилось зимой или в субботу,

20

But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21

потому что таких бедствий, как в то время, не было от начала мира и доныне, и никогда больше не будет.135

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22

И если бы те дни не были сокращены, то не уцелело бы ни одно живое существо, но ради избранных они будут сокращены.

22

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

23

Если кто-нибудь вам тогда скажет: «Смотрите! Христос здесь!» или «Он здесь!» — не верьте,

23

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24

потому что явятся лжехристы и лжепророки и покажут великие знамения и чудеса, чтобы обмануть, если удастся, даже избранных.

24

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25

Смотрите, Я предсказал вам наперед.

Behold, I have told you before.

26

Поэтому, если кто скажет вам: «Он там, в пустыне», не ходите, или «Он там, в потайной комнате», не верьте,

The Return of the Son of Man

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27

потому что, как молния, которая, сверкая с востока, бывает видна и на западе, так будет и возвращение Сына Человеческого.

27

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

28

Где будет труп, туда соберутся и стервятники.

28

For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29

Сразу же после бедствий, которые будут в те дни,

«солнце померкнет,
и луна не даст света,
звезды упадут с неба,
и небесные силы поколеблются».136

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30

Тогда на небе появится знамение Сына Человеческого, и все народы земли зарыдают в отчаянии. Они увидят Сына Человеческого, идущего на небесных облаках с силой и великой славой.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31

Он пошлет Своих ангелов, и те под громкий трубный зов соберут Его избранных с четырех сторон света, от края и до края небес.

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32

Пусть для вас примером будет инжир: когда почки набухают и выпускают листья, вы знаете, что приближается лето.

The lesson of the Fig Tree

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33

Так и здесь, когда вы увидите, что все это сбывается, знайте, что Он уже близко, у самых дверей.

So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34

Говорю вам истину: еще не исчезнет это поколение, как все это произойдет.137

34

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

35

Небо и земля пройдут, но Мои слова не пройдут.

35

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36

Но о том дне и часе не знает никто, кроме Отца — ни ангелы на небесах, ни Сын.

Be Ready at Any Hour

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37

Но как было во дни Ноя, так будет и при возвращении Сына Человеческого.

37

But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38

Перед потопом люди ели и пили, женились и выходили замуж, и так продолжалось вплоть до того дня, когда Ной вошел в ковчег.

38

For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39

Они не понимали, что должно случиться, пока не пришел потоп и не истребил их всех. Так будет и когда придет Сын Человеческий.

39

And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40

Двое будут работать в поле: один будет взят, а другой оставлен.138

40

Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41

Две женщины будут молоть на одной мельнице: одна будет взята, а другая оставлена.

41

Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42

Поэтому бодрствуйте, ведь вы не знаете, в какой день придет ваш Господь.

42

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43

Знайте, что если бы хозяин дома знал, в котором часу ночи придет вор, то он сторожил бы свой дом и не позволил бы ему проникнуть в свой дом.

43

But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44

Поэтому вы тоже должны быть готовы, потому что Сын Человеческий придет в час, когда вы Его не ждете.

44

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45

Кто тогда окажется верным и разумным слугой, которого хозяин поставил над другими слугами, чтобы вовремя раздавать им пищу?

45

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46

Блажен тот слуга, которого хозяин, когда вернется, найдет поступающим так.

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47

Говорю вам истину: он доверит ему все свое имение.

47

Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48

Но если это дурной слуга, который решит: «Мой хозяин придет еще не скоро» —

48

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

49

и станет избивать своих товарищей, есть и пить с пьяницами,

49

And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50

то придет его хозяин в тот день, когда он не ожидает, и в тот час, когда он не знает.

50

The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51

Он рассечет его надвое и определит ему одну участь с лицемерами, — там, где будет плач и скрежет зубов.

51

And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
