Life Through the Spirit

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set youa free from the law of sin and death.

То, что не в силах был сделать Закон, не способный перебороть нашу греховную природу,27 сделал Бог. Он послал Своего Сына в теле, подобном греховному человеческому телу, и осудил грех, сделав Его тело жертвой за наши грехи.

For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh,b God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering.c And so he condemned sin in the flesh,

Он сделал это для того, чтобы справедливые требования Закона были исполнены в нас, живущих не по греховной природе,28 а по Духу.

in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Живущие по греховной природе думают о том, чего хочет эта природа, а живущие по Духу — о том, чего желает Дух.

Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.

Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

9

Но если Дух Божий живет в вас, то вы уже находитесь не под властью греховной природы, а под властью Духа. А в ком нет Духа Христа, тот и не принадлежит Ему.

You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.

10

Если же в вас живет Христос, то ваше тело мертво29 вследствие греха, а Дух — это ваша жизнь30 для праведности.31

But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives lifed because of righteousness.

11

Если в вас живет Дух Того, Кто воскресил Иисуса из мертвых, то Воскресивший из мертвых Иисуса оживит Духом Своим, живущим в вас, и ваши смертные тела.

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because ofe his Spirit who lives in you.

12

Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation — but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it.

13

For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

15

Вы получили не дух рабства, чтобы опять жить в страхе, а Духа усыновления, Которым мы и обращаемся к Богу: «Абба!32 Отец!»

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.f And by him we cry, “Abba,g Father.”

Дух Божий свидетельствует вместе с нашим духом33 о том, что мы дети Божьи.

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

17

А если мы Его дети, то и наследники. Наследники Божьи и сонаследники Христу. Ведь если мы страдаем вместе с Ним, то вместе с Ним и будем прославлены.

Now if we are children, then we are heirs — heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

18

Я считаю, что наши нынешние страдания ничего не значат в сравнении с той славой, которая ожидает нас в будущем.

Present Suffering and Future Glory

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

19

Ведь все творение с нетерпением ожидает откровения сыновей Божьих.

For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.

20

Потому что творение было подчинено бессмысленности существования не по своей воле, а по воле Того, Кто подчинил его.34 Но у творения есть надежда на

For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope

21

освобождение от власти тления, чтобы обрести ту же славную свободу, что и дети Божьи.

thath the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

22

Мы знаем, что все творение до сих пор стонет и мучается, как женщина при родах,35

We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.

23

и не только оно, но и мы, получившие Духа как залог того, что нас ожидает,36 тоже внутренне стонем, с нетерпением ожидая полного усыновления — искупления наших тел.

Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.

24

В этой надежде мы и спасены. Но надежда не бывает направлена на то, что уже видимо; если что-то уже видимо, то на что же надеяться?

For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have?

25

Мы надеемся на то, чего не видим, и терпеливо этого ожидаем.

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

26

Также и Дух помогает нам при всей нашей слабости. Мы не знаем даже, о чем нам следует молиться, но Дух Сам ходатайствует за нас вздохами, которые не могут быть выражены словами.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

27

Тот, Кто исследует сердца, знает мысль Духа, потому что Дух ходатайствует за святых в согласии с Божьей волей.

And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, whoi have been called according to his purpose.

29

Потому что кого Он заранее узнал, тех и предопределил быть подобными образу37 Своего Сына, чтобы Иисус стал Первенцем38 среди множества братьев.

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

30

А кого Бог предопределил, тех Он и призвал, а кого призвал, тех и оправдал, а кого оправдал, тех и прославил.

30

And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

31

Что же нам сказать об этом? Если Бог за нас, то кто против нас?

More Than Conquerors

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

32

Тот, Кто не пожалел Своего Сына, но отдал Его за всех нас, разве не дарует с Ним и всего остального?

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all — how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

33

Кто будет обвинять избранных Богом? Если Бог оправдывает,

Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.

34

кто может осудить? Христос Иисус, Который умер, но воскрес и сейчас находится по правую руку от Бога, ходатайствует за нас.

Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died — more than that, who was raised to life — is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

35

Что может отлучить нас от любви Христа? Скорбь или трудности? Преследования или голод? Нагота или угроза казни?

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

Написано:

«Ради Тебя убивают нас всякий день
и смотрят на нас, как на овец перед бойней».39

As it is written:
“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”j

Но мы одерживаем величайшую победу над всем этим благодаря Тому, Кто полюбил нас.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

38

И я уверен, что ни смерть, ни жизнь, ни ангелы, ни власти, ни настоящее, ни будущее, ни силы,

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,k neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,

39

ни высота, ни глубина — ничто во всем творении не может отлучить нас от любви Бога во Христе Иисусе, нашем Господе!

neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
