    The Lamb Takes the Scroll

    And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals.

    Я увидел могучего ангела, который громко спрашивал:
    — Кто достоин снять печати и раскрыть свиток?

    Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?”

    Но никто ни на небе, ни на земле, ни под землей не мог раскрыть свиток и посмотреть, что внутри.

    And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it.

    Я горько плакал, потому что не нашлось достойного, кто бы мог раскрыть свиток и посмотреть, что там.

    So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open [a]and read the scroll, or to look at it.

    Тогда один из старцев сказал мне:
    — Не плачь! Смотри, победил Лев из рода Иуды,37 Корень Давида!38 Он может раскрыть свиток с семью печатями!

    But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and [b]to loose its seven seals.”

    И я увидел в самом центре трона, в окружении четырех живых существ и старцев, Ягненка, выглядевшего так, будто Его принесли в жертву. У Него было семь рогов а также семь глаз,39 которые есть семь духов Бога, посланных по всей земле.

    And I looked, [c]and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

    Он подошел и взял свиток из правой руки Сидящего на троне.

    Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.

    И когда Он его взял, четыре живых существа и двадцать четыре старца пали перед Ягненком. У каждого из них в руках было по арфе и по золотому сосуду, полному благовоний — это молитвы святых.

    Worthy Is the Lamb

    Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

    И они поют новую песнь:

    — Ты достоин взять свиток
    и снять с него печати!
    Ведь Ты был принесен в жертву
    и Своей кровью выкупил людей для Бога:
    людей из всех родов, языков, народов и племен!

    And they sang a new song, saying:
    “You are worthy to take the scroll,
    And to open its seals;
    For You were slain,
    And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
    Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

    Ты сделал их царством и священниками для Бога,
    и они будут царствовать на земле!

    And have made [d]us kings[e] and priests to our God;
    And [f]we shall reign on the earth.”

    Потом я посмотрел и услышал голос множества ангелов, окружавших трон, живых существ и старцев, их были тьмы тем и тысячи тысяч.40

    Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,

    Они громко пели:

    Достоин Ягненок, Который был принесен в жертву,
    принять власть, богатство, мудрость, силу,
    честь, славу и хвалу!

    saying with a loud voice:
    “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
    To receive power and riches and wisdom,
    And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

    Потом я услышал, как все существа на небе, на земле, под землей, на море, и все, что в них, говорили:

    — Сидящему на троне и Ягненку
    да будет хвала, честь, слава и власть вовеки!

    And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:
    “Blessing and honor and glory and power
    Be to Him who sits on the throne,
    And to the Lamb, forever and [g]ever!”

    Четыре живых существа говорили: «Аминь!» И старцы упали и поклонились.

    Then the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the [h]twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped [i]Him who lives forever and ever.
