И пришёл Шафан писец к царю, и принёс царю ответ, и сказал: взяли рабы твои серебро, найденное в доме, и передали его в руки производителям работ, приставленным к дому Господню.

Секретарь Шафан пошёл к царю Иосию и рассказал ему, что произошло. Шафан сказал: "Твои слуги собрали все деньги, которые были в храме. Они отдали их людям, которые руководят работой в храме Господа". -
После этого писарь Шафан пришел к царю и доложил ему:
— Твои слуги взяли деньги, какие нашлись в доме Господа, и передали их наблюдателям за работами и работникам. -
Потім повернувся писар Шафан до царя й доніс йому про справу, кажучи: “Слуги твої зібрали гроші, що знайшлись у храмі, і передали їх наглядачам робітників, що при Господньому храмі.”

And Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, Thy servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of them that do the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD.

Shaphan went to the king and reported, “Your officials have turned over the money collected at the Temple of the LORD to the workers and supervisors at the Temple.”
