Тогда царь послал второго всадника. Подъехав к ним, он сказал:
— Царь спрашивает, с миром ли вы?
Ииуй ответил:
— Что тебе до мира? Поезжай за мной. -
Тоді послано другого верхівця. Цей прибув до них і каже: “Так питає цар: Чи ви з мирним задумом?” А Єгу відповів: “Що тобі до миру? Іди за мною!”

Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me.

So the king sent out a second horseman. When he came to them he said, “This is what the king says: ‘Do you come in peace?’ ”
Jehu replied, “What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me.” -

Then he sent out a second horseman who came to them, and said, “Thus says the king: ‘Is it peace?’ ”
And Jehu answered, “What have you to do with peace? Turn around and follow me.” -

So the king sent out a second horseman. He rode up to them and said, “The king wants to know if you come in peace.”
Again Jehu answered, “What do you know about peace? Fall in behind me!” -
