Он поразил также Моавитян, — и сделались Моавитяне рабами Давида, принося ему дань.
He defeated Moab, and the Moabites became servants to David, bringing tribute.
И поразил Давид Адраазара, царя Сувского, в Емафе, когда тот шёл утвердить власть свою при реке Евфрате.
David also defeated Hadadezer king of Zobah as far as Hamath, as he went to establish his rule to the Euphrates River.
И взял Давид у него тысячу колесниц, семь тысяч всадников и двадцать тысяч пеших, и разрушил Давид все колесницы, оставив из них только сто.
David took from him 1,000 chariots and 7,000 horsemen and 20,000 foot soldiers, and David hamstrung all the chariot horses, but reserved enough of them for 100 chariots.
Сирияне Дамасские пришли было на помощь к Адраазару, царю Сувскому, но Давид поразил двадцать две тысячи Сириян.
When the Arameans of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David killed 22,000 men of the Arameans.
И поставил Давид охранное войско в Сирии Дамасской, и сделались Сирияне рабами Давида, принося ему дань. И помогал Господь Давиду везде, куда он ни ходил.
Then David put garrisons among the Arameans of Damascus; and the Arameans became servants to David, bringing tribute. And the LORD helped David wherever he went.
И взял Давид золотые щиты, которые были у рабов Адраазара, и принёс их в Иерусалим.
David took the shields of gold which were carried by the servants of Hadadezer and brought them to Jerusalem.
А из Тивхавы и Куна, городов Адраазаровых, взял Давид весьма много меди. Из неё Соломон сделал медное море и столбы и медные сосуды.
Also from Tibhath and from Cun, cities of Hadadezer, David took a very large amount of bronze, with which Solomon made the bronze sea and the pillars and the bronze utensils.
И услышал Фой, царь Имафа, что Давид поразил всё войско Адраазара, царя Сувского.
Now when Tou king of Hamath heard that David had defeated all the army of Hadadezer king of Zobah,
И послал Иорама, сына своего, к царю Давиду, приветствовать его и благодарить за то, что он воевал с Адраазаром и поразил его, — ибо Фой был в войне с Адраазаром, — и с ним всякие сосуды золотые, серебряные и медные.
he sent Hadoram his son to King David to greet him and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer and had defeated him; for Hadadezer had been at war with Tou. And Hadoram brought all kinds of articles of gold and silver and bronze.
И посвятил их царь Давид Господу вместе с серебром и золотом, которое он взял от всех народов: от Идумеян, Моавитян, Аммонитян, Филистимлян и от Амаликитян.
King David also dedicated these to the LORD with the silver and the gold which he had carried away from all the nations: from Edom, Moab, the sons of Ammon, the Philistines, and from Amalek.
И Авесса, сын Саруи, поразил Идумеян на долине Соляной восемнадцать тысяч;
Moreover Abishai the son of Zeruiah defeated 18,000 Edomites in the Valley of Salt.
и поставил в Идумее охранное войско, и сделались все Идумеяне рабами Давиду. Господь помогал Давиду везде, куда он ни ходил.
Then he put garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites became servants to David. And the LORD helped David wherever he went.
И царствовал Давид над всем Израилем, и творил суд и правду всему народу своему.
So David reigned over all Israel; and he administered justice and righteousness for all his people.
Иоав, сын Саруи, был начальником войска, Иосафат, сын Ахилуда, — дееписателем,
Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army, and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder;
Садок, сын Ахитува, и Авимелех, сын Авиафара, — священниками, а Суса — писцом,
and Zadok the son of Ahitub and Abimelech the son of Abiathar were priests, and Shavsha was secretary;
