И сказали они: возвратим и не будем с них требовать; сделаем так, как ты говоришь. И позвал я священников и велел им дать клятву, что они так сделают.

Тогда богатые люди и начальники сказали: "Мы вернём им и ничего не будем требовать у них больше. Неемия, мы сделаем так, как ты скажешь". Тогда я созвал священников. Я заставил богатых людей и начальников обещать Богу, что они сделают так, как сказали. -
— Мы вернем это, — сказали они, — и не потребуем больше от них ничего. Мы сделаем, как ты говоришь.
Я призвал священников и заставил знать и приближенных дать клятву в том, что они выполнят обещанное. -
Ті відповіли: «Звернемо й не вимагатимемо від них нічого. Зробимо так, як ти кажеш.» І покликавши священиків, звелів я їх заприсягти, що так зроблять.

Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise.

“We will give it back,” they said. “And we will not demand anything more from them. We will do as you say.”
Then I summoned the priests and made the nobles and officials take an oath to do what they had promised. -

Then they said, “We will restore these and require nothing from them. We will do as you say.” And I called the priests and made them swear to do as they had promised. -
І вони сказали: Віддамо і не вимагатимемо від них! Так зробимо, як ти кажеш! І я закликав священиків, і взяв з них клятву чинити згідно із цим словом.

So they said, “We will restore it, and will require nothing from them; we will do as you say.”
Then I called the priests, and required an oath from them that they would do according to this promise. -

They replied, “We will give back everything and demand nothing more from the people. We will do as you say.” Then I called the priests and made the nobles and officials swear to do what they had promised.
