A false balance is an abomination to Jehovah; but a just weight is his delight.

The integrity of the upright guideth them; but the crookedness of the unfaithful destroyeth them.
Не поможет богатство в день гнева, правда же спасёт от смерти.
Wealth profiteth not in the day of wrath; but righteousness delivereth from death.
Правда непорочного уравнивает путь его, а нечестивый падёт от нечестия своего.
The righteousness of the perfect maketh plain his way; but the wicked falleth by his own wickedness.
Правда прямодушных спасёт их, а беззаконники будут уловлены беззаконием своим.
The righteousness of the upright delivereth them; but the treacherous are taken in their own craving.
Со смертью человека нечестивого исчезает надежда, и ожидание беззаконных погибает.
When a wicked man dieth, [his] expectation shall perish; and the hope of evil [men] perisheth.
Праведник спасается от беды, а вместо него попадает в неё нечестивый.
The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.
Устами лицемер губит ближнего своего, но праведники прозорливостью спасаются.

Праведность ведёт к жизни, а стремящийся к злу стремится к смерти своей.
As righteousness [tendeth] to life, so he that pursueth evil [doeth it] to his own death.
Мерзость пред Господом — коварные сердцем; но благоугодны Ему непорочные в пути.
The perverse in heart are abomination to Jehovah; but they that are perfect in [their] way are his delight.
Можно поручиться, что порочный не останется ненаказанным; семя же праведных спасётся.

Расстроивающий дом свой получит в удел ветер, и глупый будет рабом мудрого сердцем.
He that troubleth his own house shall inherit wind; and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.
Плод праведника — древо жизни, и мудрый привлекает души.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and the wise winneth souls.
