Затем Аарон должен заколоть козла в жертву за грех за народ. Аарон должен принести кровь этого козла в комнату позади завесы и сделать с кровью козла то же, что делал с кровью тельца. Он должен покропить кровью козла особую крышку и перед нею. -
Пусть он заколет козла в жертву за грех народа, внесет его кровь за завесу и сделает с ней то же, что с кровью молодого быка — окропит ею крышку искупления и перед ней.

The Sin Offering for the People
Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat: -

“He shall then slaughter the goat for the sin offering for the people and take its blood behind the curtain and do with it as he did with the bull’s blood: He shall sprinkle it on the atonement cover and in front of it. -

Тоді заріже перед Господом козеня [жертви] за гріх, що за народ, внесе його крові всередину за завісу і вчинить з його кров’ю так само, як вчинив з кров’ю теляти, і покропить кров’ю по місцю викуплення, навпроти обличчя місця викуплення.
