The Genealogy of Jesus the Messiah

This is the genealogya of Jesus the Messiahb the son of David, the son of Abraham:

Авраам родил Исаака; Исаак родил Иакова; Иаков родил Иуду и братьев его;

Abraham was the father of Isaac,
Isaac the father of Jacob,
Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,

Иуда родил Фареса и Зару от Фамари; Фарес родил Есрома; Есром родил Арама;

Judah the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar,
Perez the father of Hezron,
Hezron the father of Ram,

Арам родил Аминадава; Аминадав родил Наассона; Наассон родил Салмона;

Ram the father of Amminadab,
Amminadab the father of Nahshon,
Nahshon the father of Salmon,

Салмон родил Вооза от Рахавы; Вооз родил Овида от Руфи; Овид родил Иессея;

Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab,
Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth,
Obed the father of Jesse,

and Jesse the father of King David.
David was the father of Solomon, whose mother had been Uriah’s wife,

Solomon the father of Rehoboam,
Rehoboam the father of Abijah,
Abijah the father of Asa,

Аса родил Иосафата; Иосафат родил Иорама; Иорам родил Озию;

Asa the father of Jehoshaphat,
Jehoshaphat the father of Jehoram,
Jehoram the father of Uzziah,

Озия родил Иоафама; Иоафам родил Ахаза; Ахаз родил Езекию;

Uzziah the father of Jotham,
Jotham the father of Ahaz,
Ahaz the father of Hezekiah,

Езекия родил Манассию; Манассия родил Амона; Амон родил Иосию;

Hezekiah the father of Manasseh,
Manasseh the father of Amon,
Amon the father of Josiah,

Иосия родил Иоакима; Иоаким родил Иехонию и братьев его, перед переселением в Вавилон.

and Josiah the father of Jeconiahc and his brothers at the time of the exile to Babylon.

По переселении же в Вавилон, Иехония родил Салафииля; Салафииль родил Зоровавеля;

After the exile to Babylon:
Jeconiah was the father of Shealtiel,
Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel,

Зоровавель родил Авиуда; Авиуд родил Елиакима; Елиаким родил Азора;

Zerubbabel the father of Abihud,
Abihud the father of Eliakim,
Eliakim the father of Azor,

Азор родил Садока; Садок родил Ахима; Ахим родил Елиуда;

Azor the father of Zadok,
Zadok the father of Akim,
Akim the father of Elihud,

Елиуд родил Елеазара; Елеазар родил Матфана; Матфан родил Иакова;

Elihud the father of Eleazar,
Eleazar the father of Matthan,
Matthan the father of Jacob,

Иаков родил Иосифа, мужа Марии, от Которой родился Иисус, называемый Христос.

and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, and Mary was the mother of Jesus who is called the Messiah.

Итак, всех родов от Авраама до Давида четырнадцать родов; и от Давида до переселения в Вавилон четырнадцать родов; и от переселения в Вавилон до Христа четырнадцать родов.

Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Messiah.

Рождество Иисуса Христа было так: по обручении Матери Его Марии с Иосифом, прежде нежели сочетались они, оказалось, что Она имеет во чреве от Духа Святого.

Joseph Accepts Jesus as His Son

This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came aboutd: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.

Иосиф же, муж Её, будучи праведен и не желая огласить Её, хотел тайно отпустить Её.

Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yete did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

Но когда он помыслил это, — се, Ангел Господень явился ему во сне и сказал: Иосиф, сын Давидов! не бойся принять Марию, жену твою, ибо родившееся в Ней есть от Духа Святого;

But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

Родит же Сына, и наречёшь Ему имя Иисус, ибо Он спасёт людей Своих от грехов их.

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,f because he will save his people from their sins.”

А всё сие произошло, да сбудется речённое Господом через пророка, который говорит:

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:

«се, Дева во чреве приимет и родит Сына, и нарекут имя Ему Еммануил, что значит: с нами Бог».

“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”g (which means “God with us”).

Встав от сна, Иосиф поступил, как повелел ему Ангел Господень, и принял жену свою,

When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.

и не знал Её, как наконец Она родила Сына Своего первенца, и он нарёк Ему имя: Иисус.

But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.
