Иисус разодрал одежды свои и пал лицом своим на землю пред ковчегом Господним и лежал до самого вечера, он и старейшины Израилевы, и посыпали прахом головы свои.

Когда Иисус об этом узнал, он разорвал на себе одежды, выражая тем самым печаль, упал на землю перед святым ковчегом и лежал там до вечера. И старейшины Израиля тоже посыпали головы свои пылью в знак печали. -
Иисус разорвал на себе одежду, упал лицом на землю перед ковчегом Господа и оставался там до вечера. Старейшины Израиля сделали то же самое и посыпали свои головы пылью.

Тоді Ісус роздер на собі одежу й упав обличчям до землі перед кивотом Господнім аж до вечора, він і старші Ізраїля; і посипали вони собі землею голови.
