И говорили князья Филистимские: это что за Евреи? Анхус отвечал князьям Филистимским: разве не знаете, что это Давид, раб Саула, царя Израильского? он при мне уже более года, и я не нашёл в нём ничего худого со времени его прихода до сего дня.

Филистимские командиры спросили: "Что здесь делают эти иудеи?" Анхус ответил им: "Это же Давид, слуга Саула, царя Израильского. Он при мне уже больше года, и я не нашёл в нём ничего плохого с тех пор, как он оставил Саула и пришёл ко мне". -
Начальники филистимлян спросили:
— Что делают здесь эти евреи?
Ахиш ответил:
— Ведь это Давид, который был слугой Саула, царя Израиля! Он у меня уже больше года, и с того дня, когда он покинул Саула, я не нашел в нем ничего плохого. -
Питають князі філістимлянські: «Що це за євреї?» Ахіш відповів князям філістимлянським: «Та ж це Давид, слуга Саула, царя Ізраїля! Він оце вже років зо два зо мною, й з того дня, як він прийшов ще й досі я не знайшов нічого в ньому.»

Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day?

The commanders of the Philistines asked, “What about these Hebrews?”
Achish replied, “Is this not David, who was an officer of Saul king of Israel? He has already been with me for over a year, and from the day he left Saul until now, I have found no fault in him.” -

І сказали сатрапи филистимців: Хто ці, які йдуть? І промовив Анхус до воєвод филистимців: Хіба це не Давид, раб Саула, ізраїльського царя? Він був з нами багато часу, це вже другий рік, і я не знайшов у ньому нічого з того дня, коли він прийшов до мене, і аж до цього дня.

Then the princes of the Philistines said, “What are these Hebrews doing here?”
And Achish said to the princes of the Philistines, “Is this not David, the servant of Saul king of Israel, who has been with me these days, or these years? And to this day I have found no fault in him since he defected to me.” -

І казали филисти́мські князі́: „Що́ це за євреї?“ А Ахі́ш відказав филистимським князя́м: „Таж це Давид, раб Саула, Ізраїлевого царя, що був зо мною певний час, чи то роки, а я не знайшов у ньому нічого злого від дня його прихо́ду аж до дня цього.“

But the Philistine commanders demanded, “What are these Hebrews doing here?”
And Achish told them, “This is David, the servant of King Saul of Israel. He’s been with me for years, and I’ve never found a single fault in him from the day he arrived until today.” -
